...is it just me or does it seem like putting Azrael- the guy who just declared his willingness to slaughter all 'evil' in Gotham- in the same cell as all the OTHER villains you've defeated in the sidequests seem like a recipe for disaster? There's got to be more than one solitary confinement chamber. Also, Az, get away from Firefly, no one wants you getting ideas about helping him burn the city to the ground to cleanse it in holy fire or something.
I had ONE problem with this mission. Azrael's challenges were just combat, i was expecting some predator encounters. Sure he can fight, but Batman didnt trained him against armored thugs.
Well Batman isn't so much training him as he is testing for what skill he already has. Azrael has already been slipping around unoticed by Batman studying his every move for years in the first place, to a point where his combat skill near exactly mimics that of Batman's. When it has already been proven that he can avoid even Batman's notice, he can definitely slip by some thugs.
Ah ok... So let me get this straight. It takes Batman about 10 hits to knock out a regular mook, but it takes only two Bat-Punches to take down Azrael? Not to mention one punch to knock down Deathstroke? Plus it takes like 30 hits from both Batman AND Catwoman to take down the Riddler of all people? Logic? What's that Rocksteady?
I really must say that after completing this Most Wanted mission with the ‘good’ ending, where Azrael walked away as opposed to attempting to kill Batman or breaking the sword, I hold tremendous respect for Azrael as a character and what he represents. He is the rare kind of individual who genuinely believes in their deity, and works to enact what he thinks is said deity's will without exploiting his faith as a means for selfish gain like many religious adherents & leaders do. He believes so strongly that all his endeavors are truly aligned with what God decrees that, when he learns of the Order's manipulations of his belief for their own goals, he becomes furious and chose to confront those who took advantage of his faith. I am agnostic. However, I will not deny that Azrael's conviction in his god along with his adherence to his interpretation of justice makes him a definitive hero. In a world such as the Arkhamverse where either caustic cynicism or degenerate zealotry are the two norms regarding faiths & ideologies, the existence of characters such as Azrael who can ultimately remain steadfast and not fall to either is worthy of admiration.
It's a lot different from most religious people who are only religious because they fear death or want to be in the best place in the afterlife. The latter one is incredibly selfish.
I really would hate if Rocksteady decided to make Ending #3 the truly canon one, it would kill Azrael's ENTIRE character development, I know that they wouldn't do such thing if they were dumb. But we know that some companies ruin stories like that for whatever reason.
God I love this design. The costum, the sword everything. I would love to see a standalone game with Azrael taking down the order of ST Dumas. I hope Rocksteady does that in future
That would be fun to see/play. He's not superhuman like others, he IS human, but he has a lot of pent up anger and that comes out in his fighting style. I do think a fight between him and Batman would be more than a two-piece combo.
I would go for the second ending for Azrael, it shows how much he would be thankful for Batman and he could be a trusted friend, and trustful enough for Bats to trust him to keep Gotham safe while Batman passes.

Came up with a handful of beat'em'up segments as Azrael and called it a day. Didn't help that none of this would play a part in anything beyond those tests as well. Azrael has psychological issues which has always made Bruce skeptical of him. In the case of his original background Azrael was mentally screwed up due to the genetic tampering involved in his creation. He would also lose himself in berserk rages which is what caused him to nearly beat Bane to death. He's a solid candidate for the title of Batman with either Azrael you choose, however they both have psychological issues and bad habits from their significantly more vicious training. Batman realistically would train both Azraels more extensively outside of just combat, and the only reason he didn't with the original Azrael was due to there being limited time to do so.

The last ending is the worst for Azrael. I wish more would have come out of his mission in the first two endings with him dealing with the order or something.
For the third ending, rather than just having Batman knock Azrael out right away, there should have been a boss fight between the two and then have Batman knock out Azrael. It would’ve been interesting to see Batman fight against someone who can copy him move for move (Deathstroke doesn’t count because he has his own unique fighting style)
Azrael talks about wanting to kill villains. So Batman puts Azrael in a prison cell with villains that he could kill. Well that's one way for Batman to hold onto his "no kill rule." LOL.
That's funny, however these guys are trained martial artists and batman has broken something's a lot more tougher than the blade, conversely, Azrael should be able to do the same.
Rocksteady should do a DLC Story for Azrael. Either by having him take on Deacon Black Fire, Deathstroke, Firefly, Manbat, Pyg, or the Order of St. Dumas. Now that would be awesome. Seeing that would be difficult because you have two choices here, but it would still be awesome.
I like the sword breaking, it shows the order has more power on Azreal and that mental battle was harder to fight, it also shows a more emotional side to him suggesting that he is moral.
Azrael reminds me of the guys in Assassins Creed especially his hood and how when he jumps off the building it looks like the leap of faith the assassins do.
sterling9314 i know they do. i learned about it in history class back in 6th grade. however unlike assassins creed they were actually in a sense religious knights who fought in the name of god to "protect his children" as it were. though the church eventually branded them as heretics (i dont recall why) and had them all killed. they still are a well known group thanks to the assassins creed series partly as well as just simple history from school.

Theory about end of the game: (SPOILERS) When the two thugs are mugging the family and then see (what looks like) batman, staring at them and then glides towards them. Now we know that the only people in Gotham that were effected by the cloudburst were thugs, this means (like batman was the whole game until cured) they are all still hallucinating under the effects of the gas. What I believe the ending represented was that even though batman is gone (dead or alive is irrelevant) they still are scared of him when they are committing a crime, hence why the concept art is called 'nightmare bat' as it is them imagining batman is going to get them as he is what the thugs are scared of still.

I just noticed that Ghost in Gray poster! @ 17:30 ! Bruce used to watch that show as a child! There is even a episode on it in Batman the animated series! Bruce is a huge fanboy! It's detail like that, which makes a video game good IMO.
Gameplay's still very important! Graphics less so in general, but still a little, depending what kind of atmosphere you want to conjure. People do sometimes go a bit far concentrating on those two specifically (especially graphics by itself) but it doesn't mean they're not appreciable qualities. Especially gameplay.
I agree that they are important (gameplay mostly) of course but for me it's the extra creative details, little surprises that makes the experience of playing a game more fun and special. I know not everyone thinks like that of course but I just hate seeing the extra thought people put into a game get overlooked because say "the graphics were bad" for example.

It would have been really cool if one challenge was combat, one was predator, and one was solving a crime scene etc because being batman isn't only about combat lol. Also, if you chose to SPOILER kill batman, a boss fight would have been cool too.
@@bruhmanofyear2647 Bane's physically the toughest challenge because he can match Batman and is a bruiser, but I feel that Azrael is much more ruthless in combat than Batman. He has no problems putting someone out if necessary.
When I started a New Game+, I had to force myself to do it. It sucked. Azrael's a great character, and him breaking the sword is much more powerful than getting locked up.
He kills bad guys. Was it really a good idea to lock him up in a cell with the worst of the worst. Also that fireman really doesn't deserve to be locked up with those villians
The "good" ending option is the one that IS comics accurate. He's not a part of the long list of BatFam members, like Catwoman and Batwoman, Kate Kane his distant cousin, are even in the batfamily and Batman's inner circle of Gotham he's trusted most, but Azrael operates on his own cadence once he's realized the Order has been lying and has made him think only one way. That Batman is their enemy as much as any other threats to Gotham. And he's not really wrong, since he always causes property damage to everything during chases and fights.
I think it would be amazing if Azrael's final test would be to fight Batman (without killing ofc, only defeat him in a fair-fight). That would truly be the hardest test Azrael would face, altho initially if he would fight him before the Clocktower scene, no denying Azrael would have tried killing him in the fight itself.
I kinda feel like Azrael is kinda like us the players if we were put physically in the game, constantly watching the Batman trying to be just like him, which it is fitting because not only is he one of the few choices that matter and vary, but Batman even says ‘you had a choice’ like if Azreal doesn’t decide to spare Batman, it is us making the conscience choice not to allow Azreal to be just another puppet/thug, used for a goal that will always fail against the Dark Knight, instead of aiding them.
Azrael certainly could've been a worthy heir/successor since he was certainly skilled enough to pass all of Batman's tests and did follow his "no killing" rule. The Order of St. Dumas may have manipulated him to become a knight of their order but their intentions were to dispose of evil in Gotham City, by having a new guardian for the city which had been a never ending breeding ground for criminals & those who are innocent fall prey to the "evil" of the city. Also think Azrael should perhaps have his own game or DLC pack, to where we see his journey to becoming a knight for the order & tries to cleanse the city of it's corruption or somewhere else.
A part of me expected a DLC of what would happen after Azrael breaks the sword. And here's how I imagine it starting out: A secluded base made in the guise of a temple, 5 followers of the Order are patrolling and standing guard. A figure observing from above, before descending down, knocking two of the followers out. The other three try to fight back, but were soon disarmed and knocked unconscious. The camera pans out to reveal it was Azrael. Azrael: "Tonight, the Order of Saint Dumas dies." Since Azrael's side mission had multiple ways to end, the same would apply to this DLC. Scenario One: Azrael, after defeating the Order, had them trapped with no way out. Azrael: It was a grueling journey, but I have finally put an end to the Order. For too long, they have gotten free of judgement. No more. Judgement has come... for all of us. He then began setting the temple on fire. Azrael: These flames shall purge the world of the Order's evil, and ensure nothing of it remains to fester. No one who has a connection to the Order will be spared. Neither will I. For I choose to accept this fate, and refuse to run like the Order had. As the fire spread all over, he simply stood there, and waited for the blaze to consume him. Azrael: No one can escape their sins in the end. Sooner or later, they must repent. I have learned that from a true Knight. Fire crews arrive at the scene and find only one thing among the ash, a charred corpse, atop of a drawn out Bat symbol. Scenario Two: Michael does not kill the leaders of the Order, but instead has released everything about them to the public, preventing them from trying to erase any evidence, and exposing their crimes. Azrael: As I had the opportunity to finish off the Order, I had looked back on my path to this moment. I had spilled blood many times in the past, yet I had not taken a life here. The Order had always believed that the guilty should be punished, no matter who it may be. While they are indeed punished, it was not the way they had expected. The police arrive and arrest everyone there, Azrael observing from a cliff. Azrael: I now realize why Batman had fought for Gotham in the manner that he did. When you look deep into the abyss, sometimes the abyss would look back. The Order had gone blind and never saw the Abyss' gaze. Batman had, and now so have I. As he turns to make his leave, he noticed a shadow hovering overhead. The shadow of a bat. Scenario Three: (Should you choose to simply leave and not break the sword) As Azrael is ready to finish the leaders, they uncover the sword, stolen from GCPD Evidence. They once again try to brainwash him into being their tool. However, he still resisted. Seeing that Azrael would no longer be under their thumb, they try to use the sword to break his mind, preventing him from interfering again. However, the sword was suddenly struck, breaking in two, and releasing Azrael, who had attacked and knocked out the leaders. As he walks over to the nearby balcony, he contemplates how he broke free. Azrael: As I was becoming the Order's puppet once more, I had looked back on my life. The one from my time in the Order... and long before that. I had realized that despite the vengeance I sought being achieved, I would have no other goal afterwards. I would simply fade from existence. He would look down and see a familiar object. Picking it up, he realized what...or who had set him free. Azrael: Instead of simply seeking vengeance for the life I lost, I shall now start a new quest in the life I had gained. I will fight for those who have endured suffering like I have. Not because I was chosen to be... but because *I* have chosen to be. He gazes at the sky, determined at his choice. What do you guys think? Would this be a convincing scenario?
I prefer the 2nd ending. The sword is like a line connect Azrael to the Order of St. Dumas. By breaking it, it's like breaking his ties with the corrupted order and leaves to deal with them while sparing Batman. Seeing both Batman and Azreal shake hands as they truly accepted each other as allies feels so satisfying. He would've make a great ally to the Bat Family if the Order didn't corrupt his mind and making him into their puppet.
Batman is a vigilante, there is no mantle that has to be given. Azreal can start protecting Gotham himself, whenever he wants to I just find the Order of St. Dumas plot to be stupid.

Bad ending: Azrael listen to the Order and attempts to kill Batman. Good ending: Azrael doubts the Order and leave to confront them. Best Ending: Azrael breaks the Sword of the Order (breaking ties with the Order in the process) and leaves to make them pay for brainwash him.
Does anyone know if Azrael's moves are 100% Identical to Batman's? He obviously has the same combos and gadgets but his blows seem harder. Maybe it's just his badass outfit giving a placebo.

Azreal DOES NOT become batman. At the end of the story Bruce Wayne is considered dead but still Batman. Just a different batman than we've seen before. Using a form of fear gas and ditching the Bruce Wayne identity.

Man when i grabbed the sword i thought it would end. But getting to break it was so satisfying because i got to see azrael show he was serious and gained batmans trust.
Ikr love Arkham knight and his armor aesthetic looks and his tanks and drone aircraft to badass , I was thinking about this game and Arkham city if penguin manage to recruit all the few thousand inmates in city , a good portion were well trained mercenaries etc , penguin had a big stockpile of weapons, assault rifles, shotguns, grenades, rocket launchers, land mines, explosive charges, riot shields, body armor, pistols, armor piercing sniper rifles, electronic jamming devices, portable jamming devices , 12 ft tall guided rockets to use eyc and if penguin took the other stockpiles in the sewers of the city , and across the bay is Arkham asylum where Tyger security helicopter base is with l like 4 dozen armored helicopter with another stockpile of weapons and sent his men over there to take over helicopters and weapons , blew a hole in the wall to escape Arkham city he could take over Gotham city , recruit more gunman to have a private paramilitary to command, if he put checkpoints around Gotham with defenses , use armed helicopters to control airspace , take vans and put armor on them with the MGs from the auto turret a they have to have armor car APC to have control of streets , pit jamming devices around Gotham city to keep airforce away and put guilded rockets stationed around city to defend it from enemies and with everything in place penguin could be warlord of Gotham but sinse batman is going after strange Nightwing could go after penguin and his army and use a 3 wheeled Nightwing motorcycle to fight against penguin and have a blue neon titanium armor plated suit to wear to fight them and would make a good dlc lol
That's why i hate Azrael as a playable character. At least all of the other characters either have a unique fighting style or their own gadgets, Azrael is literally Batman with like, a quarter of the gadgets.

...is it just me or does it seem like putting Azrael- the guy who just declared his willingness to slaughter all 'evil' in Gotham- in the same cell as all the OTHER villains you've defeated in the sidequests seem like a recipe for disaster? There's got to be more than one solitary confinement chamber.
Also, Az, get away from Firefly, no one wants you getting ideas about helping him burn the city to the ground to cleanse it in holy fire or something.

I had ONE problem with this mission. Azrael's challenges were just combat, i was expecting some predator encounters. Sure he can fight, but Batman didnt trained him against armored thugs.

Well Batman isn't so much training him as he is testing for what skill he already has. Azrael has already been slipping around unoticed by Batman studying his every move for years in the first place, to a point where his combat skill near exactly mimics that of Batman's. When it has already been proven that he can avoid even Batman's notice, he can definitely slip by some thugs.
Not to mention that the suit he's wearing grants him enhanced strength, speed, stamina, and durability.
Not to mention his inteligence, he should have included at least one crime scene to analyse
Ah ok... So let me get this straight. It takes Batman about 10 hits to knock out a regular mook, but it takes only two Bat-Punches to take down Azrael? Not to mention one punch to knock down Deathstroke? Plus it takes like 30 hits from both Batman AND Catwoman to take down the Riddler of all people? Logic? What's that Rocksteady?

I really must say that after completing this Most Wanted mission with the ‘good’ ending, where Azrael walked away as opposed to attempting to kill Batman or breaking the sword, I hold tremendous respect for Azrael as a character and what he represents. He is the rare kind of individual who genuinely believes in their deity, and works to enact what he thinks is said deity's will without exploiting his faith as a means for selfish gain like many religious adherents & leaders do. He believes so strongly that all his endeavors are truly aligned with what God decrees that, when he learns of the Order's manipulations of his belief for their own goals, he becomes furious and chose to confront those who took advantage of his faith.
I am agnostic. However, I will not deny that Azrael's conviction in his god along with his adherence to his interpretation of justice makes him a definitive hero. In a world such as the Arkhamverse where either caustic cynicism or degenerate zealotry are the two norms regarding faiths & ideologies, the existence of characters such as Azrael who can ultimately remain steadfast and not fall to either is worthy of admiration.
It's a lot different from most religious people who are only religious because they fear death or want to be in the best place in the afterlife. The latter one is incredibly selfish.

I really would hate if Rocksteady decided to make Ending #3 the truly canon one, it would kill Azrael's ENTIRE character development, I know that they wouldn't do such thing if they were dumb. But we know that some companies ruin stories like that for whatever reason.

I would go for the second ending for Azrael, it shows how much he would be thankful for Batman and he could be a trusted friend, and trustful enough for Bats to trust him to keep Gotham safe while Batman passes.

Dude you're acting as if I don't know my shit. This series of tests can be completely boiled down to just developer laziness. Came up with a handful of beat'em'up segments as Azrael and called it a day. Didn't help that none of this would play a part in anything beyond those tests as well.
Azrael has psychological issues which has always made Bruce skeptical of him. In the case of his original background Azrael was mentally screwed up due to the genetic tampering involved in his creation. He would also lose himself in berserk rages which is what caused him to nearly beat Bane to death.
He's a solid candidate for the title of Batman with either Azrael you choose, however they both have psychological issues and bad habits from their significantly more vicious training. Batman realistically would train both Azraels more extensively outside of just combat, and the only reason he didn't with the original Azrael was due to there being limited time to do so.

For the third ending, rather than just having Batman knock Azrael out right away, there should have been a boss fight between the two and then have Batman knock out Azrael. It would’ve been interesting to see Batman fight against someone who can copy him move for move (Deathstroke doesn’t count because he has his own unique fighting style)

Rocksteady should do a DLC Story for Azrael. Either by having him take on Deacon Black Fire, Deathstroke, Firefly, Manbat, Pyg, or the Order of St. Dumas. Now that would be awesome. Seeing that would be difficult because you have two choices here, but it would still be awesome.
I like the sword breaking, it shows the order has more power on Azreal and that mental battle was harder to fight, it also shows a more emotional side to him suggesting that he is moral.
He is righteous, he has to be or his armor would destroy him. Only the pure of heart can bear that suit.
Azrael is a such a underrated DC character. He's always been one of my favorite superheroes.
Azrael reminds me of the guys in Assassins Creed especially his hood and how when he jumps off the building it looks like the leap of faith the assassins do.

sterling9314 i know they do. i learned about it in history class back in 6th grade. however unlike assassins creed they were actually in a sense religious knights who fought in the name of god to "protect his children" as it were. though the church eventually branded them as heretics (i dont recall why) and had them all killed. they still are a well known group thanks to the assassins creed series partly as well as just simple history from school.

Theory about end of the game: (SPOILERS)
When the two thugs are mugging the family and then see (what looks like) batman, staring at them and then glides towards them. Now we know that the only people in Gotham that were effected by the cloudburst were thugs, this means (like batman was the whole game until cured) they are all still hallucinating under the effects of the gas. What I believe the ending represented was that even though batman is gone (dead or alive is irrelevant) they still are scared of him when they are committing a crime, hence why the concept art is called 'nightmare bat' as it is them imagining batman is going to get them as he is what the thugs are scared of still.
Also, I believe Bruce does give up being batman completely an the batman the thugs see is completely hallucinatory.

I just noticed that Ghost in Gray poster! @ 17:30 ! Bruce used to watch that show as a child! There is even a episode on it in Batman the animated series! Bruce is a huge fanboy! It's detail like that, which makes a video game good IMO.

Gameplay's still very important! Graphics less so in general, but still a little, depending what kind of atmosphere you want to conjure. People do sometimes go a bit far concentrating on those two specifically (especially graphics by itself) but it doesn't mean they're not appreciable qualities. Especially gameplay.
I agree that they are important (gameplay mostly) of course but for me it's the extra creative details, little surprises that makes the experience of playing a game more fun and special. I know not everyone thinks like that of course but I just hate seeing the extra thought people put into a game get overlooked because say "the graphics were bad" for example.

When I started a New Game+, I had to force myself to do it. It sucked. Azrael's a great character, and him breaking the sword is much more powerful than getting locked up.
He kills bad guys. Was it really a good idea to lock him up in a cell with the worst of the worst. Also that fireman really doesn't deserve to be locked up with those villians
The "good" ending option is the one that IS comics accurate.
He's not a part of the long list of BatFam members, like Catwoman and Batwoman, Kate Kane his distant cousin, are even in the batfamily and Batman's inner circle of Gotham he's trusted most, but Azrael operates on his own cadence once he's realized the Order has been lying and has made him think only one way. That Batman is their enemy as much as any other threats to Gotham. And he's not really wrong, since he always causes property damage to everything during chases and fights.
I think it would be amazing if Azrael's final test would be to fight Batman (without killing ofc, only defeat him in a fair-fight). That would truly be the hardest test Azrael would face, altho initially if he would fight him before the Clocktower scene, no denying Azrael would have tried killing him in the fight itself.
I kinda feel like Azrael is kinda like us the players if we were put physically in the game, constantly watching the Batman trying to be just like him, which it is fitting because not only is he one of the few choices that matter and vary, but Batman even says ‘you had a choice’ like if Azreal doesn’t decide to spare Batman, it is us making the conscience choice not to allow Azreal to be just another puppet/thug, used for a goal that will always fail against the Dark Knight, instead of aiding them.

Azrael certainly could've been a worthy heir/successor since he was certainly skilled enough to pass all of Batman's tests and did follow his "no killing" rule. The Order of St. Dumas may have manipulated him to become a knight of their order but their intentions were to dispose of evil in Gotham City, by having a new guardian for the city which had been a never ending breeding ground for criminals & those who are innocent fall prey to the "evil" of the city.
Also think Azrael should perhaps have his own game or DLC pack, to where we see his journey to becoming a knight for the order & tries to cleanse the city of it's corruption or somewhere else.
A part of me expected a DLC of what would happen after Azrael breaks the sword. And here's how I imagine it starting out:
A secluded base made in the guise of a temple, 5 followers of the Order are patrolling and standing guard. A figure observing from above, before descending down, knocking two of the followers out. The other three try to fight back, but were soon disarmed and knocked unconscious. The camera pans out to reveal it was Azrael.
Azrael: "Tonight, the Order of Saint Dumas dies."
Since Azrael's side mission had multiple ways to end, the same would apply to this DLC.
Scenario One: Azrael, after defeating the Order, had them trapped with no way out.
Azrael: It was a grueling journey, but I have finally put an end to the Order. For too long, they have gotten free of judgement. No more. Judgement has come... for all of us.
He then began setting the temple on fire.
Azrael: These flames shall purge the world of the Order's evil, and ensure nothing of it remains to fester. No one who has a connection to the Order will be spared. Neither will I. For I choose to accept this fate, and refuse to run like the Order had.
As the fire spread all over, he simply stood there, and waited for the blaze to consume him.
Azrael: No one can escape their sins in the end. Sooner or later, they must repent. I have learned that from a true Knight.
Fire crews arrive at the scene and find only one thing among the ash, a charred corpse, atop of a drawn out Bat symbol.
Scenario Two: Michael does not kill the leaders of the Order, but instead has released everything about them to the public, preventing them from trying to erase any evidence, and exposing their crimes.
Azrael: As I had the opportunity to finish off the Order, I had looked back on my path to this moment. I had spilled blood many times in the past, yet I had not taken a life here. The Order had always believed that the guilty should be punished, no matter who it may be. While they are indeed punished, it was not the way they had expected.
The police arrive and arrest everyone there, Azrael observing from a cliff.
Azrael: I now realize why Batman had fought for Gotham in the manner that he did. When you look deep into the abyss, sometimes the abyss would look back. The Order had gone blind and never saw the Abyss' gaze. Batman had, and now so have I.
As he turns to make his leave, he noticed a shadow hovering overhead. The shadow of a bat.
Scenario Three: (Should you choose to simply leave and not break the sword) As Azrael is ready to finish the leaders, they uncover the sword, stolen from GCPD Evidence. They once again try to brainwash him into being their tool. However, he still resisted. Seeing that Azrael would no longer be under their thumb, they try to use the sword to break his mind, preventing him from interfering again. However, the sword was suddenly struck, breaking in two, and releasing Azrael, who had attacked and knocked out the leaders. As he walks over to the nearby balcony, he contemplates how he broke free.
Azrael: As I was becoming the Order's puppet once more, I had looked back on my life. The one from my time in the Order... and long before that. I had realized that despite the vengeance I sought being achieved, I would have no other goal afterwards. I would simply fade from existence.
He would look down and see a familiar object. Picking it up, he realized what...or who had set him free.
Azrael: Instead of simply seeking vengeance for the life I lost, I shall now start a new quest in the life I had gained. I will fight for those who have endured suffering like I have. Not because I was chosen to be... but because *I* have chosen to be.
He gazes at the sky, determined at his choice.
What do you guys think? Would this be a convincing scenario?

I prefer the 2nd ending. The sword is like a line connect Azrael to the Order of St. Dumas. By breaking it, it's like breaking his ties with the corrupted order and leaves to deal with them while sparing Batman. Seeing both Batman and Azreal shake hands as they truly accepted each other as allies feels so satisfying. He would've make a great ally to the Bat Family if the Order didn't corrupt his mind and making him into their puppet.

Does anyone know if Azrael's moves are 100% Identical to Batman's? He obviously has the same combos and gadgets but his blows seem harder. Maybe it's just his badass outfit giving a placebo.

Arhs Tsitour well they did new moves for nightwing, robin, red hood, harley, catwoman and joker. I'm sure if they wanted to they would've. But like the guy said, he literally learned how to fight by watching batman preform his moves, so obviously the only movws he knows are batman's.
Jackson Meade That's bullshit. With that logic rocksteady would give robin the same moves since he was trained by batman. Azrael already knew how to fight well. He has his own unique moves in the comics.
Arhs Tsitour this isn't the comics. And robin fights differently because he's more agile than batman, has less strength than batman and has a staff that he fights with. So batman would obviously have to train him differently from the way he fights.

Azreal DOES NOT become batman. At the end of the story Bruce Wayne is considered dead but still Batman. Just a different batman than we've seen before. Using a form of fear gas and ditching the Bruce Wayne identity.

Ikr love Arkham knight and his armor aesthetic looks and his tanks and drone aircraft to badass , I was thinking about this game and Arkham city if penguin manage to recruit all the few thousand inmates in city , a good portion were well trained mercenaries etc , penguin had a big stockpile of weapons, assault rifles, shotguns, grenades, rocket launchers, land mines, explosive charges, riot shields, body armor, pistols, armor piercing sniper rifles, electronic jamming devices, portable jamming devices , 12 ft tall guided rockets to use eyc and if penguin took the other stockpiles in the sewers of the city , and across the bay is Arkham asylum where Tyger security helicopter base is with l like 4 dozen armored helicopter with another stockpile of weapons and sent his men over there to take over helicopters and weapons , blew a hole in the wall to escape Arkham city he could take over Gotham city , recruit more gunman to have a private paramilitary to command, if he put checkpoints around Gotham with defenses , use armed helicopters to control airspace , take vans and put armor on them with the MGs from the auto turret a they have to have armor car APC to have control of streets , pit jamming devices around Gotham city to keep airforce away and put guilded rockets stationed around city to defend it from enemies and with everything in place penguin could be warlord of Gotham but sinse batman is going after strange Nightwing could go after penguin and his army and use a 3 wheeled Nightwing motorcycle to fight against penguin and have a blue neon titanium armor plated suit to wear to fight them and would make a good dlc lol

That's why i hate Azrael as a playable character. At least all of the other characters either have a unique fighting style or their own gadgets, Azrael is literally Batman with like, a quarter of the gadgets.
