This recording was never meant to be broadcast.
The presentation at the beginning, when Susan comes out, makes it look kind of like a talk show from the time. I didn't even know this version existed until recently.
If if we're taped Dec 26th and then announced to watch LMAD every day with Monty Hall, it was a sudden cancellation. It may also have been the chance to get Wheel of Fortune back to nbc that prompted the LMAD cancellation
