I love how YiJin doesn’t have any red flags. He’s so calm and definitely non-toxic. Unlike other common male lead who are portrayed as too good to be true but can sometimes be very possessive . YiJin portrays a guy who is imperfect, have feelings and flaws yet still shows he’s a boyfriend material and is realistic

YESS EXACTLY also i love love love that tbeyre explicitly showing that they're exclusively friends at this point. I was worried ablut the age gap and whether theyd do romance right from when they met before the show had started but theyve handled it so well, theyre only friends until the age is much more reasonable (i think shes gonna be around 25 when she falls in love with yijin causs thats what it says in the trailer and hes gonna be 29 which is much better than 18 and 22) and i love that he just flat out says 'teenagers should date other teenagers. Grown ups should date other grown ups' in one of the first episodes. Bruh this man is so perfect 😭

I like that Heedo is shown to have a boyfriend and isn’t awkward with Yijin about it. And that Yijin isn’t portrayed as jealous at all and is mostly just amused. It shows that despite their strong bond, they really don’t look at each other as a romantic prospect yet.
Yes i totally agree with this and for the first time since started watching kdrama I don't want the leads to start dating 😂 coz I like how they are now! But when the romance blossoms will also be good is what I sensed during the end of 6th episode!

It was so refreshing to see the male lead laugh and cringe instead of being jealous, which tells us they're still at the platonic stage of their relationship. The relationship they have is so cute but i seriously cannot wait for their romance to blossom (ep 8 next week, ya'll know what that means ;) Tho, i'd be lying if i said i don't want to see jealous yijin in the future haha. Choi Tae-joon's cameo was absolutely hilarious! I choked on my water when they called eachother cutie pie/sweetie haha

She said tht Choi tae joons cameo character a.k.a another national fencer on the men's team had confessed to her saying tht he was interested in her.
So she agreed to date him (but not coz she likes him exactly)
She said she wanted to experience being in a romantic relationship and tht if was was really like she had read about in her fav comic full house lmao💀💀
And later in the ep she reveals she broke up with him after 2 weeks coz she wanted to experience a breakup and see why they make it such a big deal in the lyrics of songs 😭💀
She said "Well a breakup isn't really a big deal now tht I've actually gone through it"
"I wasn't really sad"
And to tht Yi Jin said "u dummy u hv to actually be in love for a breakup to hurt and feel sad"
And to tht they show us hee do reminiscing and we're given the flashbacks when yi jin had left without notice and she found tht fencing sword at her door
She remembered how sad she was then
Yeah and that's how tht scene ends
She also says that she wants to listen to a breakup song and feel sad….but then she’s like
“It wasn’t even sad”
“I wanted to experience a breakup”
We know who she will really end up with in the end end…..even when they are older
And when she realized she had already experienced such heartbreak (of a sort) when the memory of Yijin abruptly left flashed in her mind without saying a single thing, was the bestest.
She wanted to experience break up.....and when she really experienced it.. it also made all of us cry like it was our own break up😭😭😭😭😭😭

I’m impressed that Hee-do has so much aegyo with Ho-jin. 😊🤔 Given the tomboy vibes from her I’m surprised that she was that comfortable with such behavior with her three-day old boyfriend! 😄 She was really determined to be in a proper relationship; she went all in!
This and the reason she told him why they broke up could show how she and their relationship is gonna mature in the years to come 😂Can't wait! ❤️

It's my favourite seen of this episode I was laughing the entire time and the fact that it's not like most other kdrama plot where the lead meets after a long time 😂 This is the reason why I love this drama we never know what kind of emotional ride we'll have every next minute 😁

The reason this drama is doing so much better than Forecasting Love and Weather is the same reason we like to watch Korean dramas: the slow burn build up. No romance is better than a slow romance. We are waiting for them to fall, if they kiss and do it on second episode of course we will not be hooked. At least, that's how I see it.
