The Apple blossom on the trees is quite beautiful.
Yes, it was.
This is a fantastic film. It is just like being on the actual bus. Actually, I did this exact same route about a month ago (March, 2023), the 29 bus from Churchill Square, Brighton, to Tunbridge Wells, where I was staying. And a bargain at only £2 single fare.
Great videos like these sometimes are ruined by screaming kids and their docile parents. I know turning the sound down is an option but I enjoy the bus sounds. Great bus journey though👍🏼
Brightonand Tunbridge wells are beautiful cities and Lewes a gorgeous town, thank you for taking me along to see these. The whole ride was amazing. 🥰❤
This is an enjoyable ride👍🏻👍🏻
Smooth and calming journey excellent 👍
Thank you ❤
Perhaps you could come back to Brighton and ride the new 29A from Brighton to Heathfield via Lewes and Uckfield which then goes through the villages of Framfield and Blackboys. also the extended 28 route via Ringmer, Hellingly, Hailsham down to Eastbourne.
One more nice and colour video. Greetings from Brazil!
Thank you ❤️
A good Volvo is hard to beat in terms of everyday buses.
I know a lot of the Stagecoach drivers like the Alexander Dennis Enviros both single and double deckers but on a Global scale Volvo are by far the most popular because they are easily maintained, good strong powerful
diesel engines that can get up most inclines without any bother.
Good standard of product.
Stagecoach owns some Alexander Dennis shares, so they have been using Dennis product a lot.
Nice video and what a sunny day to film it,can you do a route to Mile Oak one time pls.😀
Sure👍🏻
What about the Southern Vectis bus route, Newport to Ryde, on the Isle of Wight?
Was the bus fare £2 as they now appear to be outside London enjoyable ride
Yes. It’s available across England.
How many kilometres is this route.
Just checked on Google Maps, and it’s roughly *54.2 km or 33.7 mi* if the bus goes via Rose Hill (that’s an estimate because Google doesn’t let you enter Brighton’s City Centre in car mode). The reverse trip is ever-so slightly shorter because the bus doesn’t loop on itself in Lewes. And then comparing similar routes we have:
• if the bus goes via Isfield instead of Rose Hill (which in the new timetable is only one northbound bus per week on a Saturday), it goes up to 54.7 km / 34.0 mi;
• the once-daily 29B that goes the long way round via Halland is a whopping 60.4 km / 37.5 mi long (again, slightly less the other way);
• the northbound route of the now-discontinued 29X was surprisingly longer than that of the 29, at 57.9 km / 36.0 mi. (The southbound service still exists and is again slightly shorter, but still longer than the 29.)
Would be much better without sound .
