Loving you was like seeing a planet in the sky this close, closer than the moon, you could almost see the trees align. And I’d stand here on earth and watch this world and our wind brushes gently through my hair and my ocean whispers softly in my ear and all that catches my eyes is this strange planet, right there. Everything here loved me and I could not let go of the longing my heart felt when I’d look past what i had and who I was. I knew, I felt, I am standing on the rim to where the ocean meets the sky, I am so close I could almost see what’s waiting. I have always wondered whether my heart belonged to my body wholly - what does she run for ? I’d long, I’d reach, and yet could never catch more than a feeling, a thought, a glance that was never detailed enough. I’d give my whole body, my life, almost my soul, to leave, I think, as I stand here and forget my limbs to put my mind next to yours.
