    Wow what a fantastic spot. It's really great for kids to explore too. You can only imagine what it is like in their eyes. The walls are so thick. We must visit if we are in the area.

    It's a long time since I've visited Colwyn. That was a good walk around a fascinating castle. I see the kids are growing - that's good mate. All the best out there. Mark

    Thank you so much for sharing. Such a beautiful place to see.
    My imagination was running wild to what kinds of scenes may have occurred there in the past. I must look up the history.
    I begin to wonder what the people who once lived there will think of it once they are resurrected back to life, and see what has become of it. Will their first inclination be to want to rebuild, or will they choose more suitable housing, once they realise there will be no more need for fortresses?
