When it comes to math I put round pegs into square holes. Thanks for explaining the slope equation. In other videos they just throw a line up there starting on the Y but I didn't understand how they were getting the slope. I'm trying to understand this and you just made the light bulb go off. if you want, you could go down too. but the point is already at the bottom and will be harder to graph a straight accurate line you go up two and it's correct that way because if you take the point you just made and go down two then you end up back where you started :) it's interchangeable if that makes any sense. basically you said "if it's -2 why does the line go in the up direction instead of just down?"
