I just went up against Japan mortar spam twice in a row. The first time it wasn't so bad and outplayed the guy. The second time both opponents were playing Japan and doing it together and I was playing Japan too. Second time they were actually competent and I had zero counterplay as Japan myself XD

It's actually very easy to play against Japanese mortars . You just have to keep moving. I don't see them as a threat.​@@Culebrunch

Yeah, I got that, but the problem is the only armies I have that are good at taking out that tactic is USA and Germany. Japan basically has zero artillery or anti infantry vehicles that are fast, and Grave artillery for Russia is basically useless. It also REALLY helps to have a teammate that has a functional braincell
