The Fleming 65 was introduced in mid 2005 in response to a strong demand for an intermediate Fleming between the 55 and the 75. Her layout is very similar in concept to the 55 but the 65, being around 70% larger in displacement, offers much more interior and deck space than her smaller sibling.
This particular Fleming 65 is hull #056 and is the first Fleming with factory-installed Mastervolt Li-ion batteries, as well as Humphree 24v Stabilizers with at-rest.

Lovely to see one of these magnificent vessels on my home turf (surf) …. One would hope that they can be set to “idiot mode” like a modern car as all that technology looks a bit daunting …. I suppose you’d just have to hire a little man to do all that 😎
I Have always been a fan of Flemings, but I must admit upon inspection of I think it was Friday at the Sanctuary Cove Boat show this year, I was very dissatisfied and disappointed by the fit and finish of the engine room in general, it actually appeared unfinished in areas which simply amazed me for a MY of this caliber, to say I was disappointed in the boat presented by Fleming at the boat show would be a understatement, especially when compared to the price tag.

Needs large spray rails
I do not agree. This boat originally had extended spray rails but I removed them with improved results.

Why that annoying music ?
I have to concur with Micheal James more than 100% 80's and ugly, windscreen still angled the wrong way. And a twin screw for a hull displacement model is unnecessary and costly. Generator side kick come on. I had originally though I could live with one since other new trawlers are way out in time. I guess I'll have to wait or get a little Helmsman or Ranger till my order comes in. Very disappointing all the way around inside and out........ Tony's films are all over the top in quality but the design of the product is stuck in the 50's. YMMV
