There’s no reason he shouldn’t be your favorite skater. That was maybe the coolest trick down the clipper ledge I’ve ever seen
"There’s no reason he shouldn’t be your favorite skater." LOL. He's truly an excellent skater, but the competition is really tough, and it's a personal choice anyway.
It's also hard to have only one favorite skater. I'd rather have a top 5 (e.g. Jack O Grady, Gravette, Taylor Kirby, Clay Kreiner, Brandon Westgate).
If you're really looking for a reason : one of the very few things Mason could do better would be to integrate more switch/nollie riding. All his tricks seem to be either regular or fakie, always popping with the same foot.

@@ericduminil I agree. I was more just being hyperbolic. He's just flawless and I get that amazed little kid feeling when I watch him skate. But when I watch a westgate or taylor kirby part I'm equally stunned and get the same feeling. Def a personal choice though, you're right
@@knxr1404 I suck at skateboarding. But the few tricks I can do, I can do regular or fakie. It's exactly the same foot motion, and the momentum keeps the nose against my "front" foot better.
But just a switch Ollie or a nollie feels like I'm starting skateboarding again, drunk.
To be fair: Mason's fakie tricks are usually at full speed, and really impressive on their own.

he was with Roxy music for two albums, he's way more known for his solo work

Late to seeing this but WOW this has got to be my favorite Mason edit to date. They are always good, but the tricks and feel of this one heavily resonated with me. Really grateful for this one...
