This video does not explain how to transfer property to a living trust. All it tells me is what is it and ‘get a professional’ about 5 times to do it for you.

These TH-camrs are always asking for money, I don't mind paying for a service, but most lawyers are asking for a minimum of $400 per hour to help with writing up a Living Trust, that's being too greedy.

@@ironhorsegladiator5034 that’s probably way less than what lawyers will charge when dealing with the intestate or will process. Much more prudent to dish out the cash now and it will save beneficiaries fighting over a will.

What is the cost to draw up a living will and the only thing going into it is brokerage accounts?

We have our home and bank accounts in the name of the trust. You didn't mention putting cars and boats into the trust. When I called the federal Thrift Savings Plan, aka the TSP, about putting my retirement account in the name of the trust, the customer service person wasn't sure about it. She said that as long as my account was in my name, they would payout to my estate or beneficiaries in the event of my demise and that my wife would automatically received it as a beneficiary. I am not sure the TSP gave me the most knowledgeable advice.

Does a quit claim deed transfer property to the living trust? Or will that still require probate? (California)

This old man says it doesn’t matter now that the ethical lawyers caveat it’s a DIY RLT quarter litigation when a greedy trustee grantee changes it or a NICER Prebate Probate Nickel and Dime arbiter validation certification registration administration solution to document crime.

keep losing me! in your words "I have a Trust" / your trust", this is so incorrect! so as Grantor I have a Trust????
Grantor is Creator of a Trust that convey or transfers equitable or legal title into trust for the benefit of the Beneficiary(s). but a Trust is a Entity a creation no one owns it....as Rockefeller, stated own nothing, control everything....so how is it my trust? if its my trust then I Am Liable for it, that means its a disregarded entity with no protection....another A TURN your soul (attorney)
