rei is one of those people that get by alone but not lonely, quiet but not shy and its okay.
There are only 2 persons who has ever made Jaesuk feel like giving up...one is Jessi and the other is Rei🤣and they make him feel like that in two complete opposite ways. Jessi just keeps on talking back to him and does not care about what he says while Rei just stops him from asking any further🤣🤣

Rei's nonchalant personality is quite tough to deal with as a MC. But Yoo Jae-suk experience made the interaction very funny.
I think Rei was still translating what Yujin said in her mind when Jae-suk started asking her questions. I can totally relate when learning a new language.

Feels like Rei is the total opposite of Jae-suk. It's like 2 sides of the same coin. Jae-Suk is attentive while Rei doesn't give a damn, 🤣🤣 I can totally see the chemistry between these 2.

I love Rei! But also note that Jae-suk is such a good MC. Some of these situations could become quite awkward, but the way he handles it make them funny and lets Rei's unique personality shine.
Edit: I didn't mean this as a negative comment against any other MCs. Please don't compare people to put others down. That wasn't my intention. I just wanted to praise Jae-suk for his way of handling these funny situations.
You really see how fast he is at improv and how good his comedic timing is. Compared to say Seok Jin. 🤔

@@mhks68to be fair Seokjin used to be good MC back then. He tried to have an active role in early running man days as well but his MC style clashed with YJS (and YJS is too good lol) so he gradually exerted less effort as he became more of a support character.
y u gotta compare and bash on old man seok jin like that.. their pay grades are different for a reason

😂 Rei so funny 😂, 0:28 here she said “I had no friends” just to mess with Yoo Jae Seok. On Weekly Idol, it was revealed that Rei actually has a lot of friends and it was Yujin who didn’t have much (out of shyness IIRC).

@@Angel-jh6zpI don't think it's because Yujin is too shy or anything, but when you're already famous and a celebrity in school, it's almost impossible to make friends. They are either too scared to talk to you or treat you as the celebrity you are by keeping their distance and being respectful. Considering Yujin was 14 in pd48, she was in IZ*ONE during her schooldays, making it probably incredibly hard to form meaningful friendships.
At least it's like this in Korean and Japanese cultures, there's even an anime about an idol who has absolutely no friends in school because everyone treats her like a celebrity.
Some MCs would've flipped the joke on her but the Nation's MC is different.
He is capable of making someone the star of the episode with his reactions itself....Nations MC for a reason
