YAY! Great forecast! I spent the weekend in Galveston, helping my daughter get moved into an apartment, getting ready for med school at UTMB to start next week. Did see some damage from Beryl, mainly fences down, missing shingles and roof tiles, etc. Not a crazy amount of damage.
Looking forward to this! A nice treat in the middle of summer in Texas. Last July there were only 5 days in the month in which we didn't hit at least 100
8 days without power and I’m TOTALLY confused as to what day it is. Thankfully my wife and girls escaped with the dogs to my in-law’s in Palestine last Wednesday and I escaped with the cat on Friday.

@@peachxtaehyung Well, we're in Palestine at my in-laws. It's possible we'll get power back sooner. Crews are working in my neighborhood. So hopefully today or tomorrow.....fingers, toes and as many appendages that I can cross are crossed!
here in Corpus we need rain in the water shed badly . When they built Choke Creek Canyon res. they said it would take 10 years to fill . Nope we had a Tropical Depression and it filled that fall .
Is it just me or is this summer nowhere near as bad in texas as it was last year. Didnt austin have like 100 plus days of over 100. Not to mention it almost never rained last summer. This summer isn't so bad so far (knocks on wood lol)
