Hi everyone, i'm a datascientist and i can confirm what he talked about is what you need as dataScientist. You need to have in mind that in real world ( in company), collecting preparing cleaning data is what will consume 80% of your time, and dont be disppointed about it, it is part of the job, and all courses they will never talk about it. Applying machine learning algorithm is the fun part par in fact its only 20% of your job. as he said you need to be at ease web scrapping to collect data, but i will also add sql queries, spark ( you have the python version pyspark). In a fact, you will discover that you need both data engineering and Data Science skills to perform well. To finish, for beginners , at the beginning it will be hard, but it's worth it. Have fun doing Data science.

Why do you have so much of time to even comment and tell your opinion on something? Did anyone ask you? People might've searched for the first step they need to take towards data science of even data analytics and they may have landed on this video to know the general insights! If you know everything then apply it somewhere and keep your mouth shut! This guy has lots of knowledge but it ain't for beginners! So many jargons that can actually scare away the audience who is just thinking about this

I'm inspired. That was really good. I've done about 50 hours of DS work and haven't had a perspective on what being a Data Scientist truly meant until now. The thought of the amount of frustrating work needed to become competent through reverse engineering, and having the diligence to see it through. That's honestly terrifying.
This is a wonderful channel and I appreciate you putting in the work on your videos. I have a PhD in a statistical field and since the world is changing, I am learning machine learning and new languages, as well as figuring out ways in which experienced data analysts can transition to data science work. Thank you, Krish, I am only halfway through the video, and as complex as the Data science is still I want to stress this point that you make it look so easy, to get an understanding the outline of the data science and machine learning. thank you..!!!

Thanks for the clear concept and explaining the learning path nicely. It will be great for us if you can discuss a real life data science project and explain the steps one by one. It will help us to understand the workflow as this video did for DS. Thanks again.
Thanks a lot for making this video!! What I learnt here: Try to Collectively learn all the steps of Data Science instead of only learning them separately. This will enable us to learn application along with theory, and will be less boring as well :D. Try to do reverse engineering of the Data Science solutions to problems, and try to think on your own on how did this happen and why was this method choosen. Also, keep learning and applying the knowledge you learnt on other projects. Keep an open mind, actively search for data sets to work on, learn new things by working on them. All the best! Have an amazing day! :) :) :) Looking forward to learning more on Data Science! :)
Hello, but how to understand all these things when you are a beginner with no programming background and machine learning, and seeing a data set for the first time?
@@hulkai3436 Agreed. It's important to learn those libraries. They make your work much faster and much easier. One analogy is throwing a party. You could cook everything from scratch, create party decorations from scratch, etc, *or* you can order the food, buy party supplies, etc and put everything together to make a great party. 😊 That's what the libraries do: they have fast data cleaning and visualization tools, have all sorts of algorithms, and so on that you don't have to code from scratch. Very handy.
Go with Spark, as it is quickly replacing other traditional systems - it now comes with Dataframe approach and is quite easy to integrate with python. AWS, Azure, IBM Watson etc serve as managed web services that can be used - both as an alternative to code driven ML models and also for helping with compute power.
