    Wow, your video here demonstrated how to do this and I was able to create an automated highlight reel for a 7,200 square foot home! Thank you! I discovered that doing a screen capture of the highlight reel "gives" and "takes away". The screen cap gives the opportunity to add music and front and end cards. But the screen recording "takes away" the opportunity for the viewer to stop the highlight reel and control the tour. I also took a ton of video clips of the house and am starting now to go through them and create a video walkthrough with "real" video clips. I am watching for how much time it takes and how the final walkthroughs compare. That 7,200 square foot property took over 300 scans and I used 54 views in the highlight reel. I would imagine for a 2-3,000 sq. ft. house, putting together an automated highlight reel would be a LOT quicker! Thank you again for offering your expertise here!

    Great video .. thanks so much for sharing! You mentioned doing something to fix bad transitions (which you didn't have any in this video) .. can you share how you fix bad/jerky transitions with this approach?

    Boris Great video but I have 2 questions for you if you may.... First question is I am in the middle of making a highlight video from one of my matterport tours but the motion seems very jerky. seems like when the camera is walking the scene, it seems like it stops for a fraction of a second at each scan point rather then moving smoothly to the last scan point of the clip. Which leads me to my 2 question.... looking at your video I don't see your scan points on the floor but mine I do.... what am I doing wrong on both issues....Thanks in advance

      Hey there, so for q1 there's nothing you can do unfortunately. MP have changed how the auto play works. Maybe try to delete a frame or two where the pause occurs to see if that smooths it. Q2 - I didn't do anything to hide the scan points so it's possible that when I used to make these videos, they were hidden during auto playback. You can see if there is a url parameter which hides the little circles, as there are parameters which hide other elements: support.matterport.com/s/article/URL-Parameters?language=en_US

      You're welcome, Matthew. I actually can't find the preset file that I have been using. But if you go to Envato Market and lookup swipe transitions for Premiere Pro, you should be able to find some pretty slick and cheap transition packs. Or you can manually create the transitions by following this tutorial: th-cam.com/video/UWBrKXKACgw/w-d-xo.html

    • @360Pros
      @360Pros  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Absolutely! An interesting idea as well... you would simply take your chosen number of 360 panorama stills and download the panoramas from within Workshop, import them into your Premiere Pro project and stretch each still to last 10-15 seconds (or whatever chosen amount of time), orient them so that they always face true north (relative to one another), use the "VR mobius zoom" transition effect between the panos. Then you can even emulate pop-up tags, but just animate the callouts however you wish. It's an advanced workflow, mind you if you wish to do the animated callouts, but without them I'd say if you have intermediate experience with Premiere, and some experience with editing 360 video in Premiere Pro, you'll be able to understand and follow the steps I just listed!

    Is there a way to hide the little white circles on the ground where the tripod was placed?

    • @360Pros
      @360Pros  ปีที่แล้ว

      There should be, yes. Check out url parameters, there should be one you can add to the url which will hide the circles: support.matterport.com/s/article/URL-Parameters?language=ja#:~:text=URL%20parameters%20let%20you%20customize,the%20changes%20made%20in%20Workshop.

    How is the dollhouse so clean around the edges most scans for me get some sort of fragmenting.

    • @360Pros
      @360Pros  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      What device do you use for capture? We use the Pro 2 cameras which have better scan data than Pro 1, smartphone or the other supported third party 360 cameras. It also helps to have a very rectangular shaped home. You can trim spray though, both vertically and horizontally to get better dollhouse results. Last thing that helps is having a very open concept layout with minimal interior design and clutter, but that's not in your control.

      Thanks for the message. We used to offer this as a service but due to changes the types of projects we are undertaking (mostly rendering and digitized virtual tours instead of photographed), we don't have the Personnel available to offer it service. However this may change in the future as we grow and the demand of the service increases.
