Change perc pattern while keeping main synth melody. Add pad wash to help with transition, add counters melodies then some ear candy as you break the beat down. put like a synth stutter at 1/16, then bring back original melody after using it as a build. Hope this helps
This sounds very good so far! Not sure how you can continue this song. Maybe play with the baseline for a bit to see if you get any new melodies and other ideas.
make a sencond verse and change the key for 32 bars or sth. you may keep the perc, it's groovy. you can make the 2nd verse darker or lighter, depends on what you want to go for. For me it helps leaving the track alone for a few days or bounce it all down and listen to it while you're on the road and an idea might come to you!
That’s exactly what I was thinking, since I have a few other tracks I’m working on currently. I’ll return to this when I’m ready to deal with it, I simply uploaded it to get some opinions on its direction. Thanks for the feedback bro! 👍
Your octaves up and down at the end of the melody make it hard to continue. You are using up too much of the range where you would like to go. Save registers and jumps for key moments.
