I do, almost every day...❤️. The Netherlands 🇳🇱
I was and still there. Unlike today's so-called music, you can hear the words, you can feel the words, you can be there... Carry on young folks, carry on.

Probably the most hauntingly beautiful song ever.
Thats the perfect way to describe it!
Yes!!! This has been my favourite song since i was a little girl and I always loved it for the haunting beauty of it. You described it perfectly . It reminds me of my childhood. A much simpler time. I wish we could rewind.
Saw this Live at Baltimore Civic Center during the seventies, I was mesmerized!✌
Yes that Melatron and flute are perfect with Justins voice
Indeed it's beautiful but haunting at the same time definitely sums it up completely! Wow!!!
Timeless classic. I’m now 76 and was 22 when this classic emerged. Still up there with the very best.

I was 15, I grew up with the best of the best ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm 77 now. This song is so evocative. It reminds me of the time when my late wife and I first met. Even now, I unashamedly shed tears every time I hear it.
The power of music! It must be so amazing to get old and be able to see your life as a movie through a song. I have no memories with this song cause I borned in almost 90' but it makes me cry too. Incredible song
It’s an emotional song for me and from 1969. It’s a roller coaster of emotions as has been my life!
I'm right there with you folks! I cry every time and I was raised not to cry. But this song? Oh my Lord, please give me the strength to stop my family's curses. I wish for you to heal me! By his stripes I am healed!
Keep on getting on brother
I am already 76... but feel young if I hear all the great music 💖
I'm listening absolutely, I'm 62 years old,, oh how I miss this music and the unforgettable era that we grew up in

When my mom and dad were going through a really messy divorce my dad took me and my siblings on a trip to Lake Arrowhead. At night, in the car on our long trip this song came on the radio. I looked over and saw tears running down my dads face and I had never seen him cry. It spoke volumes and I will never forget that moment.
Alexis, I feel for you. But you have a song that will mean those memories will last forever. Take care and stay safe.
So sad to here this😢
Man... I have a song too. I was 8 watching 4 police officers attack my dad in his chair after my mom called 911. He was drunk hit my mom...It was Black Velvet. So nuts. The song plays and I'm transported to that moment. Music is powerful.
Love Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear! Live on a lake in Florida now but grew up in Huntington Beach.
Ouch dude... Right in the feels!
This song gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. Amazing song and still sounds fantastic in November 2023.

I had the misfortune of returning to San Francisco not too long ago . Originally excited to return to a once beautiful place only to find conditions appalling . San Francisco , like so many other formerly great places in our countries history is becoming a third world country . The feces , homelessness , trash , drug infestation etc.
Hopefully the residents , most of whom are fed up can vote out the politicians whose policies destroyed that city .
This song makes me feel like I could take a look at the past

My age 😊

I'm 64 and I like it as much as the 1st time laying in my bed on my little trancister radio.
Today 11/19/2023 and at age 67...I hear Nights in White Satin in a cologne commercial on TV and had to read up. The Moody Blues formed in 1964...I was only 9. This song released in 1967?! Yes, I have known the song my whole life but was shocked to see the dates. When Justin wrote it, he was only 19...amazing. The song is a timeless, passionate masterpiece and I am adding the band to a long list of albums that I need to listen to. Sadly, many of the members have passed on. 😔 Don't let them be forgotten...keep the legacy alive! ❤❤❤❤❤
Did the exact same thing.. masterpiece
You speak for me too. I'm also 66 and didn't appreciate this song when it hit the charts. The commercial used only the one significant line and it pulled me in. I've played it more in a few weeks than I did in 66 years. A true classic.
I was 9 , too. My ex husband and I saw them at the Warner Theater here in DC, probably mid ninety ish. The were wonderful

Nights in white satin
Never reaching the end
Letters I've written
Never meaning to send
Beauty I'd always missed
With these eyes before
Just what the truth is
I can't say anymore
'Cause I love you
Yes, I love you
Oh, how I love you
Gazing at people
Some hand in hand
Just what I'm going through
They can't understand
Some try to tell me
Thoughts they cannot defend
Just what you want to be
You will be in the end
And I love you
Yes, I love you
Oh, how I love you
Oh, how I love you
Nights in white satin
Never reaching the end
Letters I've written
Never meaning to send
Beauty I've always missed
With these eyes before
Just what the truth is
I can't say anymore
'Cause I love you
Yes, I love you
Oh, how I love you
Oh, how I love you
'Cause I love you
Yes, I love you
Oh, how I love you
Oh, how I love you

The haunting flute player.......soundtrack to the unfulfilled souls searching for more.
I’m 28 and reading the comments while listening to this song has given me an early midlife crisis, reading how all of the elders listened to this in their teens and reminiscing. The thought of remembering being young and recognizing the end is near just has no words to explain it. coming to peace with yourself and life as a whole, just realizing that this world is not our world, that we are all just passing through. All I can say is respect, to all of you out there with this type of thing crossing your minds on a daily basis. Thank you all for just being here in this world and sharing your part of life. Godspeed
Same, 28, and I never got into “dubstep” like everyone else, but when I heard this song remixed I instantly loved it bc of the lyrics. The original song is so much better. Definitely tearing up reading some one these comments. I 1000% agree. What a time to have experienced.
what a load of shit💩
That golden generation and I was a part of it , we thought we could change the world for the better with our music and the way thought but we failed so sad
@@robertlangley1664 you didn't fail, the song reached out to the younger generation as the meaning of it.. Brings peace and love in the heart of the younger generation and that's a win for me. Bye
@@frenchgoldenboyfan thank you
Instant goose bumps when it hits. It's a masterpiece!
One of the greatest love songs ever!🌞💚🌺🩷
This music transports me back to a time when days were brighter, weather was warmer, skies were bluer, air was sweeter, people were friendlier, the pace wasn't hectic, food tasted better, families were closer and overall quality of life for everyone was richer and more rewarding...we really need to return to try & return to those days, folks...oh and thanks for this great song
Agreed brother....
you are going senile and clearly do not remember how it was

Marian, you were only 20 years old when you left us in 89, now, nearly 30 years later, I still think of you when I hear this, I know you're in Heaven sweetie, rest, and fly with the angels,❤

Thank you all, it's so appreciated, she was such a beautiful girl, inside and out, such a beautiful soul.
The Lord says "come with me to a quiet place, and rest" I'm sure Marian is resting peacefully. God bless.
Diese Musik und der gefühlsvolle Gesang ist einfach wunderbar!
The song takes me to another dimension in life , probably when I reminisce about the days gone by, school boy crushes and teenager crisis . Yes it’s an awesome song and a timeless classic
Also my opinion: One of the best song ever. I'm still listening it in 2020 (I'm 66)
2020 2220 3000 and go on one of best of song ever..

born in 40s just in time for the rock era am so grateful
Im glad its all so easily accessible to watch and repeat these days.
My parents were born in the 40's. My dad passed away in 1986, I don't think my mum has long to go. I'll be devastated but happy that they'll be back together. I'm envious that they grew up when they did.
