    Please note ICT said your stoploss should be 12 handles for nas100 and not s&p 500. But my backtesting showed that 10 handle stoploss for s&p500 works perfectly as well.

      Thanks! I’m going to double all the time frames to see how this works with 1m entries instead of 30s entries.
      Did you notice any patterns on the failures?
      Also, what if you use leftward structure to dictate trade target and 1-1 stop loss? Does it work better?

      12 handles on the nas100 is tiny, depending on the definition of a "handle".

  • @BhProp
    @BhProp ปีที่แล้ว +4

    You tried to address this via pinned comment but worth noting that 10-12 handles on NQ more like 2.5-3.5 handles on ES. Using 10-12 handles on ES is a totally different r/r profile than his son uses

    • @CrimeTime5824
      @CrimeTime5824 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      100% agree thats very misinforming, you would never want to use a 12 handle stop on es using 30s entries thats giving it way to much wiggle room. you will be able to know if your on side way way before that.

    your explanation at 18:07 will confuse people a bit...since most traders think the 5 min has to basically make a double top, with the last 5 min top taking out the previous one (which is true..)...but sometimes on the 5 min all you see is wicks and it is difficult to spot if a 'new' top took out the previous one..my advice is to drop down to M1 so as to better see how these tops are formed on the M5...then it becomes much clearer... nice video though!

    I get that ICT says use a 12 or 10 handle SL but every time I backtest this im missing out on a way wayyy better RR...the 1:1 just doesnt seem practical because if already have an idea of where the draw is, why allow such a large SL? In your example you could have easily put the SL at those REH or even slightly above to catch a minimum of 1:3 or more...let me know your thoughts Faiz thx

    • @subzero3205
      @subzero3205 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      what ICT meant is RR is just a myth, basically people who trade with set RR really don't hit that, you can be hitting more or less or selling half at 1 RR and sell everything at the target.. he basically saying 10 handles is easier to get rather than getting the higher RR you want.. its like a mental game and have to discipline yourself... 10 handles and your done. it don't matter what happen after... win rate would be higher... getting more RR is greed and sometimes end up loosing on a trade lol

    • @deanofdisplacement
      @deanofdisplacement ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Don't focus on your R:R...... focus on winning the trade. You do not have to make $1k on every trade. Be content with $80 if that's all you get. Then move on to the next trade.

      Handles is used for futures market. Typical handles and points are the same but ticks are in between hsndles/points. Pips are only for forex markets

    Good day Mr Faiz SMC, my good Sir can you kindly clarify something for me please, We have London Killzone between 2am and 5am And we have Silver Bullet between 3am and 4am.
    So does this mean i can take any good entry between 2am to 5am since we having two models here? It is really confusing, i know it is too much to ask but i am really struggling to understand what to do between 2am & 5am.
    Its not only this one some also are the same as this one, i am seriously confused. Your sincere clarity will be much appreciated.

    Thank you so much for this video! I am a Charter member in the private group and can't even get a good discussion there bc everyone is so busy tearing each other down and being toxic! I wanted to ask does this strategy work with the trend as well? Meaning that even if we haven't raided H1 External liquidity yet and are on the way to that DOL, could we take this setup WITH the trend? So in your drawing above, as we trend bullishly toward the H1 external liquidity could we observe a BMS/SMS to upside on m5 and then a m5 SSL raid and jump in on a 30sec bullish FVG? Then hit the H1 DOL and look for the reversal with a 5m SMS to downside and proceed as you have outlined?
