@@Benoit4realthe engines are constantly running while the engine hours are typically a lot higher than the mileage it’s not unusual for the engine to go before anything else on the vehicle it’s unfortunate but engines are not designed to be running at idle for most of the day but that’s the life that ambulances have plus they don’t tend to sell ambulances until they are ran into the ground most engines on ambulances are maintained it’s just that maintenance can only do so much when there’s a need for them to be on the road and they can’t afford to have them sitting in workshops days on end so as soon as problems arise they are replaced

I bought 1 of those sprinters, the engine lasted 50 miles then blew up due to poor maintenance by the nhs. 12k quoted for repair 👎👎🤬
