Why didn't you try wiping off the dirt or washing them, then cleaning. There's no way a person with common sense would use the solution on dirt and mud like that.
Dude, this tests arent always precise, cuz yoy cant put the exact same dirtiness in both shoes, if you want my opinion, i have both, both of them do a great job in terms of cleaning, its basically just choose beetween brands, and huarache are not simple to clean, trust me, crep protect is a bit better in terms of cleaning

Crep does look great though. I still have too much Jason Markk left to buy Crep right now, but I may try it once I run out.
If you use the premium Jason Mark brush, it would have cleaned it better. The Jason Mark hard brush is great for midsoles and leather. probably a lot better for that than the crep brush.

I also think thay you took more time with the Jason Markkk, but the Crepe still won. You used the wrong brush for both shoes on the mesh and uppers, you only use hard brushes on midsoles without paint or anywhere that doesn't have paint or it will come off. That's why you still had dirt and the mesh on the tongue started to pull apart.

You are supposed to rise the shoes off with straight water first to get all the mud and guck off of it then clean the shoes and get them all saturated to get better results

If you use a multi purpose cleaner, such as Autosmart G101 and a microfiber it will do a MUCH better job than both of these. Any mpc will work though....

You should've washed the dirt off first with a hose, because you were pushing the mud into the mesh for the first time you were cleaning it.

That's because you used the wrong brush. They carry both a soft bristled brush and a coarse brush for leather and rubber materials.
