He said this was the only song he wrote while in rehab. Knowing that makes it even more powerful.
Facts
@@TheMatthewsFam i heard the first 2 verses..were written before rehab the last verse was in rehab, could be wrong..but heard it alot
@@CarlHankin07 2 first verses were written in rehab! The last verse was written when he was sober
@@joosuakauppinen8365 thank you for clearing that up 😊
@Preto do Zimbabwe Just search up Eminem Interview 2009
This is one of the songs I sent my daughter while she was in rehab. To give her inspiration and to remind her she's beautiful. She was dealing with the loss of my grandson who was just 2 1/2yrs old when we lost him. She turned to other things to deal. She's been sober 3 yrs this month. I'm proud of her and tell her every single day she's beautiful. I truly love this song. Thanks for reacting to it.
I hope your daughter is doing better.
That story is just ‘Beautiful’ just like the song.
🙏I hope you and your daughter are doing well
Oh im so sorry I feel her pain this song can break your heart I hope she gets better ❤
Love rap, or not, you just gotta respect Em. He's always been honest about his life. The mic is how he worked through his shit.
Before Relapse came out he hadn't made a song in 4 years too, everyone had thought he quit.
Your channel and no life shaq are really helping get me thru a tough time mentally. Thank you
Stay Strong Keep Fighting 🙏🙏🙏
Keep ya head up....Beautiful.
Awkward Dawn keep pushing you can get through it as long as you don't give in and there are any suicidal thoughts talk to someone about them and get them out of the way immediately 🙏
Thanks@@Saber23 !

One of my favorites by him. Love when he takes off the shady mask and let's fans see what's really going on
Love, love this tune. Shows his versatility. His heart. Also, he's walking around Detroit, which died, literally in the time he was coming up. It must have been hard to leave and come home to a town that turned to wasteland.
Respect to him .... he never left Detroit.
He did open a few foundations in Detroit to help underprivileged children, one for College, music, health and all. He has several of his own foundations and the shoes he has custom made are made to sell at auctions for his charities as well. All in Michigan Detroit area . he loves Detroit and his people there❤he has donated almost 2 mil already
He wrote this during rehab... at least the first verse if i remember correctly, and finished the rest after the fact. Its why he tells his daughters he'll be home soon. Also, this was the only track on relapse he produced himself.
Matt Woodward that's why it hits your emotions
Thsi song always makes me cry
It’s a beautiful song. Dope bars
My favorite Eminem song.
This song has saved my life a few times. Thank you for this reaction, man. I always appreciate your take on introspective music like this.
Definitely a song that's always been close to my heart since it released back 09
This is my favorite Eminem song.
EASILY one of my top 5 Eminem song's of all-time.
I love this song. It means so much to me. My addiction wasn't drugs or alcohol. But we all have our demons and addictions. Those can be anything and they can be a real darkness and struggle to overcome...even in the depth of depression. So this song touches on many levels. I enjoy just hearing Marshall sing. Some people say he cannot sing. Sometime's Eminem sings silly in his music. But when he wants to sound good he can certainly do it as he did in this song. Beautiful.
When I was stationed in South Korea this song came out, I was very depressed and lost. This song saved me. Literally helped me dig myself out of the trenches and stopped me from being suicidal. Gave me hope and reminded me of my purpose
I just come off opioids, and people don’t understand it can be a very dark depressing place getting off them. You hear his pain, especially when you go through it yourself
Em’s shoe quote at the end are words that should be remembered forever :)
This song means a lot to me cuz of the lyrics about avoiding eye contact & gettin out of a slump that you dnt think you can climb out of & ever since he came out he has always wrote songs that resonate to my life whether its psycho , personal , crazy , sad , tellin somebody to kiss your john brown hind parts or jst bein himself as an artist free to express any and all emotions.. all of his songs & or albums has fit my life at that point in time or jst in my life PERIODT ! So for somebody to not give him his roses while he's still here is ridiculous.. love him or hate him you CAN NOT DENY THIS MANS TALENT! give credit where its due now not when its too late 🌹🌹🏵⚘🌹⚘👑🎤🎤🎙🎙 💯 great reaction ! Stay solid... aayyee !!!
Going through changes is a fire song you got to React to that one
Love this reaction. You paid close attention to the lyrics. This song is very motivating. Eminem is truly the goat.
One of.the best from that album....Deja Vu, also from the relapse album....is Amazing
#TMGFAM I love all your videos bro! And i am happy you are reacting to a Eminem song he is my biggest idol🔥🔥 Keep up the awesome videos
@aj styles Facts👌 Love His Videos! And yeah i love Eminem
Many artists say they hate the fame but we know it's true with Em. He stayed home watching cartoons with Hailie rather than go to the Oscar's, cuz he didn't think he'd win and didn't care about hanging out there. He's performed at the Grammys and left when he was up for an album oscar and won, or he's just not gone lol
When Eminem rose to fame, I was in high school. I remember listening to him all the time, mesmerized by the reality in his songs. He was rapping with so much heart and feeling. That's the beauty of music, I can't think of a more natural, true form of expression. Thanks for the reaction and input L. Videos like this are the reason I subbed to your channel.
This song right here… got me through bullying and I’ll always owe my thanks and love to Em ❤️
One of the most underrated of his songs.. And my fav song ❤❤
I LOVE when Em does vids to his 'deep' songs cause if u watch him he lets u know through hand gestures and body language how he truly feels....
When you also realise the whole song is a double entendre for Detroit and how it’s changed along with its reputation
You can tell this is heart felt. Em so versatile. Great reaction
thanks to bring back songs like this of em He tries to help us grow and be a strong person by teaching us that life is hard and that we have to fight it until the end regardless of how or why and to always be ourselves
Imma Detroit native and seeing this man, husband, and father react to Eminem’s songs this way and connect with it is so damn touching man I love this shit so damn much man Detroit a hard ass city and it’s amazing what Em did with what he had to grow up with man
This video is what hooked me on this song. I’m a Michigander and have always absolutely loved my Detroit, even a few decades ago when it was a shell of its former self and seemed it was the butt of the American joke and everyone was afraid to go there. The first time I saw the video, with the old Tigers Stadium being torn down, I admit that I cried a little. So many memories of watching the Tigers with my grandpa. This song also got me through some tough times a few years ago.
Edit: He’s walking into Detroit Central (now Michigan Central) station in the beginning. It is an old passenger railway station that was abandoned in 1913 but is currently being rehabbed, which I feel adds yet another layer of metaphor to this song.
this was a deep reaction man this tune will always make me think of mind and emotion that em was going through big respect bro
Fine line by Em is another great introspective one. By the way love this reaction and all the others, keep it up man
Word's of wisdom brother, I love the positivity you bring on your channel.
U sir have a great point of view
I never saw someone analyse this song like u do
I remember first hearing this song and how hard it hit me at the time I was going through a lot trying my hardest at everything but not getting anywhere with anything and everyone talking down on me at the time and this song hit me hard
This was a hidden gem indeed. I loved this song along with “Talkin to Myself” from the Recovery album. Check it out if you haven’t heard it before. It’s insightful man.
My senior quote was from this song:
“Be yourself man, be proud of who you are”
that’s how much this song means to me
"Deja Vu" is all about his overdose, almost dying and how Hailey found him on the floor....very deep and great song to react to! Would love to see your reaction
After this one you need to listen to Eminem - Not Afraid , it´s about Eminem's change in direction from drugs and violence, it carries a positive message and is one of my favorit song.
10 years man. Time flies by. I was just a young teen when this came out.
“I’ll be one tough act to follow” yeah no shit 😂
the song is impressive and encouraging words I like this song 👌👍
And even more powerful as this is the final track of ana album that's nothing but violent and super gory.
Definitely one of my favorite by Eminem. When lyrics touch your soul you know it's fire 🔥
Love your positivity stay true brother. Song is underrated
Em is the realest rapper alive
I like this guy..he speaks very good wise words..and truths..good person..he so cool
Everything you just said FACTS!! Why you quit eminem reactions? The algorithm? He's still popping.. should come back in tho fr
It still connects when he talks bout just wanting to browse at target..
Unfortunately fame & money come with that attention. And all looking 4 you to fall off .
But I feel him on not judging what's going on in someone else's head.
How can this get any thumbs down, let alone 3 of them!? Anyway, thanks for the review, love this song!
I'm happy I got the explicit music video🙂🙂
This fuckin hook is the best i have EVER heard...
I'm happy to see you got a big following, congrats brother.
This song gave me nostalgia
React to Difficult by Em. Its a tribute to Proof. You can hear the pain in the words. I dont think it was off any album but just leaked.
Maaaan that song is a heartbreaker
That "I just hide behind the tears of a clown" line is in reference to Mariah Careys song called Tears of a Clown that she wrote as a diss to Eminem when all their drama went down
3:50, I think you've got that backwards in Em's case, it actually seems like he credits the substance abuse for a fair amount of his creativity. More like he's losing his muse per se, this is referenced in other songs as well where he seems to credit the slim shady persona to the drugs, even on the Kamikaze album most recently.
Easily one of my favorite Eminem songs, love this one
i love this song, but your reaction to it makes it even better. Thank you!
Stay Wide Awake pleaseee
Wow! Such a nice message!
Thanks for the reaction tmg this song really helps me get through some tough times and I’m really stressing about some shit right now (work wise) and this song always reminds me to just be humble and do what I know how to do best (wrenching) and I always love yours and no life shaq reactions your my go to reactions because your guys are so true and legit inspiring thank you keep it up I’ll always tune in
Just wanna say this reaction popped up in time I’m stressing about some interviews coming up and seems that this showed up in my recommendations at the right time for a reason thank you
2:21 this particular song he actually wrote while he was in rehab
Needed to hear this today 💛💯
This whole video was filmed in Detroit, the First Section he is rapping the Old Train Station that has been abandoned for decades but Ford is now fixing it up. the Baseball field is Old Tigers Stadium but that was fully torn down not long after this video was filmed. Everything in the video is the D
Loved your reaction. Keeping it 1000% Real as the track. I just clicked the subscribe button. Cheers!!
One of my favorite Eminem songs! Love it
Good vibes to you bro and the rest of the fam✌️❤️💨
Im in love with this song
Love your videos dude
PEACE
Love your reactions homie 🙏
I love this song
I know this seems like a weird recomendation with this heartfelt Eminem song, but I thought of Weird Al's original song, First World Problems, when you talked about people complaining and feeling sorry for themselves. Al makes it funny, but it's a powerful message. Al often helps the medicine go down with humor.
Thank you for your heartfelt reaction to Eminem's powerful song.
You’re a good man. I like the things you have to say. Good channel been subscribed
*STEPPING STONE out of Kamikaze album is one of those tracks that gives me the same vibes as this*
*Reveling his true self and vulnerability*
Just found your channel. That shit really just helped me. Thanks man..
It could have potentially been after Proof passed. RIP 🙏🏼... Everyone knows he was in a bad depression after that.
matt mate this is in NO WAY my fave Eminem fave song but you got plenty of material we can all laugh at ;)
The building in this video is the old train station. There were conversations about it being refurbished to be a hotel casino in Detroit when, gambling was allowed at certain places. That fell thru. One of the churches, the last I heard (no research), was trying to purchase the property to make it a historical landmark and refurbish it. Again, this is from memory. It may have been torn down, for all that I know now. Just being honest.
Почему когда я смотрю этот клип и слушаю эту музыку мне охота плакать😢😖👏
I would like to talk with Marshall... I really love this song.... I think it's my favorite by him... One of my favorite songs ever... He hits on so much that I've had to go thru... Got to ignore the haters & keep doing me... I love Eminem & I really love this song.... I love the fam too... Thanks L
10:30 I love this part. ❤️
Someone at your door
Open the door for conversation like I want that --- I can relate... Not because I'm famous though obviously, but I'm very anti social and high anxiety. Trying to fix that ,😂
just subscribed.. really like your reactions... 💯
My favorite Eminem track, hands down. Keeping in line with Eminem and staying with some new stuff. Honestly, he's been around so long, chances are you've heard more of his tracks than you're putting on. But, react to Fall by Eminem.
Also, just because Eminem and celebrities have a lot of money, are famous, are widely loved doesn't mean there isn't a ton of stress. People idealizing them and saying 'I wish I had their life' ignore the massive amount of stress in those famous peoples' lives. From the public eye, from the label or movie directors, from paparazzi, from their PR people, always worrying to not do something bad or scandalous in the public eye. Not to mention countless other sources I can't think of but I'm sure exist. I'd rather keep my life than have theirs. Sure, I'd like more money, but not the stress that comes with it when you get to the level Eminem is on.
And your stance on modern albums in general, about clubbing and all that stuff, is exactly why I don't stray out from the two rappers I listen to already, NF and Eminem. I like stories, I like deep lyrics, I like tracks I can relate to. Same can be said about R&B. I don't listen to any R&B, because whenever I try, it's most often about drugs, women, problems with women, partying. Not to mention, the lyrics are so simple and often repetitive. Not to compare or anything, but that's why I like rock so much. 90% of the tracks from the countless bands I listen to are stories, cover historic events, or describe what the singer, another member, or the band as a whole are going through while writing the album. I can also relate to it all. The few tracks I can't relate to either cover an important topic, cover historic events, or just get me pumped or set a nice atmosphere for gaming or working hard. If the like dozen or so 'hiphop heads' and 'rap fans' that have been converted and listen to rock and metal tracks outside of reaction videos and legit add them to their playlists doesn't say anything about how good that genre is, I don't know what will. I haven't seen more than 5 'metal heads' on youtube converted to rap or r&b in the same way. Why? Because most of modern rap and R&B is just immature and simple.
Could you do Untouchables sometime in the near future? America needs to hear the message he has to offer in that one more than ever now...
I love your summary
I would walk in his shoes my life is a living hell rn so i wouldnt mind it im just taking it day by day
Did you just heard anything what eminem said? 🤦🏽♂️, ffs
Hey man react to castle and arose, emotional songs, watch both as they tell a story of his life
He has so many songs that make me cry and this is my all time favorite of his! But it breaks my heart for him. I'm gonna make a weird comp but I tell ya people missed the screams for help from Chester Bennington and these are EM's ! He's always even today saying in his songs (if people listen ) dude wants to just be Marshal, Not the clown (eminem)not the monster(shady). He put out those albums with the softer side/the sober side and people trashed him. Which I feel was a test we all failed. His fans want Shady the one thing he wants to leave behind😭
I love it bro this is one of my favorites this song has helped me through a lot another great song off Relapse that is also super deep and real Be Careful What You Wish For check it out sometime keep up the good work ✌️
He's got a lot deeper scars than I've had. But. At the same time I wouldn't ever got clean of it didn't become a mortgage payment.
Lucky he didn't go out like too many too early
When you get in your Country music bag look into Montgomery Gentry. It’s a sad story what happened to T-Roy Gentry.
My favorite is “Roll with me”
listen to walk on water! love that song!
Eminem not afraid
Name one person in Detroit who is not proud of this man...ill wait. Hell even Michigan for that matter
