These girls post disbandment worked with utmost hardwork perseverance in Idol industry . People slept on their music, their talent . It's not like they were lacking anywhere , Some of the songs of Gugudan , weme & pristin were so bop, at the level of SOTY , totally well deserving of millions of views & recognition from music lovers . Now leaving all this behind which was caused may be because of ignorance from listeners , their companies , mismanagement or just fate . These girls never gave up , in fact they are working even harder in every opportunity they are getting and if being an actress is finally giving them the well deserved love , fame , money , success, respect & mental well-being as well; why they should be blamed & tagged as if it's a disease . Honestly that's the safest path for idols. When you look at 1st or 2nd gen, the one that continued in the entertainment industry with the most successful were actress. Not a lot of them succeed as soloist (if you compare it to the number of groups that existed). And it seems that it's very recent for Korea to have woman past their 30/40's still singing and dancing. You could really just find actresses working late after having kids and being married. Also some girls became idols to become actress. Jiyeon from T-ara trained to be in T-ara because she wanted to become an actress. Even if she's actually less active as an actress than Eunjung, that was her 1st plan. Edit: typo + T-ara mention

Unlike GG, Fx, 2PM or any other idol-turned actors, It's not like IOI girls were enjoying popularity & success by being Idols , It seems It was never their choice , they had to bag the roles & opportunities in Kdramas . These girls post disbandment worked with utmost hardwork perseverance in Idol industry . People slept on their music, their talent . It's not like they were lacking anywhere , Some of the songs of Gugudan , weme & pristin were so bop, at the level of SOTY , totally well deserving of millions of views & recognition from music lovers . Now leaving all this behind which was caused may be because of ignorance from listeners , their companies , mismanagement or just fate . These girls never gave up , in fact they are working even harder in every opportunity they are getting and if being an actress is finally giving them the well deserved love , fame , money , success, respect & mental well-being as well; why they should be blamed & tagged as if it's a disease . At least from my 10 yrs of perspective of K-ent industry , Being an actress is much much better in every aspect than being an Idol . Not every group gets the fame as BTS & BP . There's literally 2-3 groups/year that gets all the craze and rest all are slept on, day by day the music is becoming tasteless & now it's all about unnecessary Fanwars , restless streaming & scandals . Can we just imagine so many trainees get robbed of their dream even before debut , & even if you debut, what's the probability of full filling & living those dreams ?
In case of IOI , I think all the girls are doing extremely great in their respective field , and if you were ever an IOI stan, you should be proud of them, because we know what hell of a competition it was in Produce & that were just few 101 idol-wannabes , where as in reality it's 100 times crazy 'Produce-like' world out there in Idol industry.
Instead of tagging them as they got some actress disease , Why not support them when they come back with new music ?
& even then if they are being slept on, how can we expect them to stay as an Idol & suffer ??

Honestly that's the safest path for idols. When you look at 1st or 2nd gen, the one that continued in the entertainment industry with the most successful were actress. Not a lot of them succeed as soloist (if you compare it to the number of groups that existed). And it seems that it's very recent for Korea to have woman past their 30/40's still singing and dancing. You could really just find actresses working late after having kids and being married.
Also some girls became idols to become actress. Jiyeon from T-ara trained to be in T-ara because she wanted to become an actress. Even if she's actually less active as an actress than Eunjung, that was her 1st plan. Edit: typo + T-ara mention
Most of their companies had no idea how to manage idol groups so being an actress is way better choice for them.
