So he really loves Paris. He touched his neck at the end, where the mark was from the statue, so many think he was also a statue that came to life. He sculpted a woman, embodying his softness, kindness, and innocence. This creation led him to a realization: it wasn't about the woman but about his own self. Ultimately, he found peace in his reality.! I remember RM saying in one of their BE-hind stories: "Kim Taehyung the man who rejects what's normal" and this really shows how unique he is.. well for the interpretation of the video, I think it's pretty open, and everyone can have their own thought about it. The way I see it the V in black is the sculptor and the sculptures he created are his ideal companions he envisioned, a woman that he loved and who loved him back but also friends with whom he could enjoy life. In the end he realizes that it's only imaginary and that he must face the truth (the confrontation between the 2 V) and a feeling of acceptance from the way they smile at each other, that even alone they will still manage to be happy( final shot where V is standing alone). Great music video and song, an outstanding work from V ! 💜

My theory is the red tae is the sculpture has an x marked on him and so does the woman sculpture has a x mark and the dark real v came back towards the end i think the red tae and woman were just living within there imagination but it wasn’t reality. Can’t wait for the cinematic version cause this this mv was already cinematic it could of been a movie tbh Our true artist Kim Taehyung killing it again showing why he is in BTS and why he’s our unique jazz pop king cause there not many jazz pop artists out there there all mostly pop or rap but I love that he’s bring jazz pop back into the music industry it definitely needs something new and refreshing sounds in the kpop industry and within Hollywood industry itself tbh
When you see what appears to be him wandering around the streets of Paris is supposed to be a daydream. Yes in the end he realizes that he himself is a statue. Which is why when you see him moving around the property he can't go past the bushes and why he suddenly has to stop on the pathway. If you remember in the video there is a quick scene where a statue is either thrown or fell and broke, I believe that statue was the second V coming through the door which is why there were cracks on the face and it looked like it had been glued or patched back together.
Thoughts? I picture it as Tae creating V, the persona. Him walking and dancing by himself, in the theater (the performer), walking with a teddy bear (the child in him),. And in the end, he discovers "paradise" when he finally sees his creation of V and somewhat accepts it that it's definitely a part of him. Still just my thought. Winter is Tae's favorite season and, through it all, when winter comes, he still feels warmth even in the cold because he knows he will always have his creation with him. So the girl is also a part of him, his many facets of his persona. Truly a masterpiece! Park Hyoshin is a famous balladeer in South Korea, he is the 2nd voice you hear in the song.

What do you mean? at the end both people are Taehyung. The voices singing are Hyo Shin and him together, every other line they switch.
