Shouldn't have to use prem ammo all the time. The penetration on the Maus' gun isn't great but it's decently accurate especially in close quarters like this you can definitely do just as well with standard ammo aiming for weak spots. That's what the high tier games are all about. Hitting enemy weakspots while hiding yours. Thats why so many high tier players just suck. You can of course compensate with premium ammo, or you can work and be just as good without it and make a shit ton of credits as bonus.
In my opinion you should play the Maus more aggressively as it does have the armor and hitpoints for it. In addition to angling the front and some backup covering your back you can create a moving bunker
nice match but the 2 only things i did not liked was the shoots at the IS-7 and your angle while hunting the other Maus what i really liked was that you had saw where you needed to go, wich a lot of players need to learn ^^
I don't know what part of the video you are talking about exactly but sidescraping is really effective. Having the rear of the tank towards enemy is just stupid but backing out showing the side of the tank at an high angle is just common sense, or at least it should be...

But i love your strategy on reversing into the street sloping your side armor , even if it hits its damage is low . not sure if it works with the M103 which is a tank i use quite often , because that maus has a side panel of armor for the tracks , the m103 is open tracks which is why might not work so well eh ?
And the maus gun isn't that bad, you just have to be smart and aim for weak spots, which you should be capable of doing and exploiting if you have a tier 10 by now.
I'm not claiming that this was a epic game, just that in this game i play the Maus quite well, especially compared to many other players that have no idea on how to play it. You kinda showed you've been playing premium ammo to long when you didn't shoot the IS in the belly but in the top of the hull around 5 mins in. I got no hate against gold ammo, but for some people it breeds bad habits as you showed.

Then the rage against the enemy E-100, in the future I recommend you figure out how to blur your chat, as tanking with people like that makes you guilty by association.

I find the gun fine and still make short work of other tier 10s and I highly reccomend you stop firing it immeadiately as it is making you a bad player. I can't believe you wasted your shots on that IS-7's UPPER glacis plate and you exposed your sides flat and pointed directly at the enemy far too often. Just giving some constructive criticism.

Wasnt a bad game but to be honest... i dont see the special. There are some mistakes, as the bad aiming at the IS-7 f.e. I would call your playstyle in this Video ok... But perhaps the mouse is such a bad tank and i simply dont know it (as i dont have one :D)

its called side skirting, most german heavy players do it as it results in being de tracked or a bounce, but usually no damage is taken
Frontal armor is the best, so don't turn around when going into roads unless you are retreating.

The front can penetrate, but still, you have a point sometimes when facing quick enemies, I do that to.

I believe the Maus has been made smaller for the game, because of the specs I've seen, it's 14 ft tall...

To be honest i can't really say... If i would choose today i would go with the E-100 i think but, i have only tried it for a few matches.
Gold shells should be standard on the 128mm, it's worthless at tier 10.

U think gold ammo is a win button? U need still need to shoot youre shots at the right places. but a maus... haha doesnt need to even with normal ammo
