If you ever come to New Zealand. Hit me up bro. I'll show you around. Give you a safe and comfortable place to stay, free of charge. I've got family in the Mongrel Mob and the Black Power that would tell you truly what its about. I'm 24 so I only know so much. I know enough to be street wise enough to dodge all that gang life. I pride myself in my work as a dairy farmer and hating our government lol

We have a lot of gangs in New Zealand. Mighty Mongrel Mob, Black Power, Tribesmen, Satan's Slaves, Stormtroopers, Rebels, Hell's Angles, Devils Henchmen, Filthy Few, Head Hunters, King Cobras Highway 61s, Bandidos, and then there's some spin off groups like the Darksiders (spin off group black power) Nomads (spin off group Black Power/Head Hunters) Killerbeez (spin off group Tribesmen) and a whole lot more than I can't think of at the moment and a bunch of street gangs love my country lol 🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿

I grew up in NZ. Lots of family members were either in black power or mongrel mob. The fights were bad. Shootouts and stabbings, bashings on the main streets in middle of day. The 80s and early 90s were crazy and then it sort of died down as lots of other gangs came into the scene. Lots of the OGs were locked down. Now there is a massive resurgence in the mob there. Plus Black Power and Mongrel mob have moved into Australia as there are so many kiwis and polynesians here. NZ has always had a massive gang problem due to poverty, state housing, inter generational gangster families. Plus lots of Islanders and Kiwis getting deported from prsions in Australia, USA and other places back to NZ with no opportunity and no way to make money so the gangs are on the rise. Lots of the mob are affiliated with overseas cartels and organised gangs now so it's a lot different to minor street scuffles or fights. Also.. you can't buy those patches in a shop...You would get destroyed for wearing em if you don't rep the click.

If you're confused about those short as shorts haha we call them stubbies. They're lowkey a NZ icon, especially from the 80s when this was, and everyone from lads to farmers to gang members and businessmen wore stubbies. They're also similar to rugby shorts that are worn a lot.
Also about the brothers in the gangs who move onto 'regular work' a lot end up as shearers (sheep) or freezing workers (butchers). I worked in a freezing works for awhile and heaps of older guys had gang tattoos on their face, neck, and hands. Mainly Black Power kaumatua (elders/elderly) because of the region I live in. Somewhere like Napier, Mob Members are a dime a dozen hahah

Gangs in NZ are a product of colonisation from the British. There is so much intergenerational trauma and inequitable poverty from colonisation and these gangs are one example.
The colonisers are the biggest most dangerous gangs....globally!!!!These gangs do not represent Te Ao Māori, Aotearoa NZ whatsoever!
Typically, these "docos" are from a British westernised perspective, therefore only showing the typical violence as an outcome of mamae (pain/hurt) that happens globally. The very few people in this video do not represent the gangs to their truest. Yes, they are a well established and organised gang of many diverse types of characters, that have families, contribute to society by employment and paying taxes or giving back to their communities. And on the other hand if you choose to associate criminaly, just like anything then you will likely experience the adverse consequences.
Most people in NZ have some type of affiliation with gangs in some way or form, sometimes without even knowing it. But truly they are our cousins, brothers, aunties, uncles, parents, teachers, business owners, artists..... just people. They are another culture within a culture etc etc.
    Māuri Ora!!!

No lad NO way. You wouldn’t get caught wearing a gangs patch!😬 you can wear a vest even have patches. Make a club. A Social. Club. But to become a ‘1%’ club and wear THAT patch. No. It needs a meeting by heads of all the clubs to be allowed to even start one. Nah you’ll get bashed. Or Knocked!!!

😂 Working @ McDs for a Mob/BP member would never happen 🤣 More like rorting the system on a benefit supplied by our amazing social system that the rest of the country pays for. Useless waste of space, the lot of them 😡 They do not in any way represent Māori culture or tikanga - shameful behaviour!
