$30,848 - (2022) Key West 1720 Sportsman Center Console

This 2022 Key West 1720 Sportsman Center Console was on display at the Daytona Beach Boat Show earlier this year. This model has been the most popular model for Key West Boats every year since 1992, and it is easy to see why. The example shown was on sale for $30,848 with a special promotional offer of 10% down payment, and monthly payments of only $225 including the trailer!
The boat measures 17’2” in length, has a beam of 6’10”, and weighs in at 1150lbs making this very easy to tow and to store. The boat is powered by a 90hp 4 stroke Yamaha outboard and has a built-in fuel capacity of 40 gallons.
As a day cruiser, there is comfortable seating for 5 adults, and can be equipped with a sun pad cushion for the bow. The seat in front of the console has a cooler built into it, and there is a cooler under the helm seat as well. There is also a large bimini cover that gives great protection from the sun too.
As for fishing, there are rod holders all round the deck, in the gunwales, beside the console, and more! You have an aerated livewell in the aft quarter, mount point for trolling motor on the bow, fish hold under the bow deck, and much more!

I guess it all depends on your definition of sea worthy. On a day like today, I'd have no issues going a couple mile offshore for some fishing. Time the weather and tides right, and you would be fine.

It is amazing the difference in fishing boat from Florida to the pacific north west where I am.. Those kind of boats wouldn't sell to well here to much mist and cold out on the water.. but the summer time would be to bad. Still a fisherman doesn't buy a boat to fish in the summer. Most of us do not have a live well as we don't always use live bait. the helm is more towards the front with a cover over it to keep out the cold and the wet... Back end is open to cast or set up downriggers... All things being equal at my age I would rather have the warmth.. But I have been here to long to desire a change.. Carry on son.. I enjoy your videos..

I have been fishing the 1720 for about 12 years now from Port Defiance in Tacoma to the and high mountain lakes of Idaho. Snow storms and high winds. Rain suits, gloves and good boots. Yup your too old. lol

@@TheNutzandBoltz yup I have fished most every lake in Oregon and all the rivers and a lot of the streams.. These days I am happy if I can walk to the truck.. But I am bound and determined to get some fishing in this year here in washington state.. it maybe the last year I will be able to.. But at least I got in a good 50 years of it.. I'm assuming you're trying to work out if you can close the garage door 😁 Unfortunately, I can't seem to find that info anywhere. Seems a valid question, but you might need to contact a dealer or Key West directly for the answer.

To be honest, I'm not sure. The boats all had stickers saying what it was per month but I never applied or worked with the finance team for more info 😉
