Thanks, Super stoked for this season. What kind of boat do you have?
Funny you mention the clicker, usually the newbies do that haha, at least you recognized it 😊
😂 drives me crazy can’t believe I did it. Was still hyped from the yellow. we hooked up on that one maybe 3 min later, Guess I was just excited Definitely won Kook of the day.
Nice fishing, and nice boat that Cabo!
Thank you, it’s definitely one of my favorite boats
Great video! Thanks for posting. Keep em comin!
Thank you, hopefully we can get some bluefin action soon
How far back do you set the lures when trolling? and what leader did you use? thanks
There off set the long one is about 100 - 125ft and the short one is 50-75ft we were using 40lb blue label fluorocarbon
Do you prefer the saltiga or the Trinidad ?
I really like both but I would say I prefer the Trinidad
Was that a penn 2 squall
It’s a Penn Fathom 25nld2
Looks fun.
I'm in Az will be on the Producer in late June
@@alanjones5458 that’s a great boat should be a great trip how many days is the trip
That's all you caught in three days?
We kept 10 halibut, 1 yellowtail ,2 bonito and a limit of rockfish. Released a lot of calicos and a dozens of short halibut just didn’t have good footage of it.
@@SocalFishingAdventure Hey awesome didn't mean to be unfriendly. I owned an ocean boat in 84 and would fish Clemente and Catalina. Good luck on your next trip
@@timothymcintosh2932 Thank you, hopefully the action picks up a little bit and I remember extra batteries for the camera. Have you done any fishing lately? How do you think the fishing at the islands have changed since 84. I’m sure Clemente was just loaded with yellowtail with a lot less boat pressure.
@@SocalFishingAdventure I sold my boat 25 years ago. Have not fished the ocean since. I am thinking about a new boat looking at a 28 foot Boston whaler. I am going to restore the boat and install two new outboards, radar, fish finding equipment, autopilot, etc. This is going to be fun all new tackle as well. I could tell you many fishing stories from 40 years ago those were great times. I thought real hard if I want to buy a home in Florida and buy a boat there. I would love to fish the gulf. It would be great to go fishing sometime in the near future keep in touch. Thanks Tim
