Yep, I think that the threat is more to the miners rather than the blockchain itself. Miners will have to invest in new equipment to compete with quantum miners if there is such a thing in the future. But Quantum computing will make the blockchain more efficient and as of now it is one of the fields that directly benefits from that on the contrary cyber security will have to evolve to overcome this.
Quantum computing with AI is the holy grail. A brain that can compute faster than any human being could possibly hope to compete with and thus evolve faster than any human can keep up with. If it happens, we've made Skynet. Bitcoin doesn't matter to Skynet.
