This is my favorite kind of fishing! Nothing more peaceful than walking through beautiful woods hitting small river holes, trying to get a meal of brook trout!
Second comment from me, I apologize. This is absolutely one of the best videos that you have done in a long time. Probably because it brings up so many memories of me growing up. Great job my brother.
Camp&Fish vids are always fun to watch. I’m from Presque Isle Maine...the name of the city means that it’s a peninsula, surrounded in 3 sides by rivers. Trout fishing is what I did from the age of 5 - 28...Discovered bass fishing at 10yrs old and have been hooked on it since. I could always go out and go trout or salmon fishing, but in order to go bass fishing I would have to be driven down when I was young, or drive myself. And the nearest river, lake, or pond with bass in it near me was 2 hours away. So catching, cleaning, cooking trout and salmon and watching your vids make me feel like I’m back home lol. I’m now in NH..where the lg and sm mouth bass are prevalent. I just place an order through Googans website and also a large order from Karl’s Bait and Tackle, loaded with everything I could find Googan, that was sold out on your website. 🙏 they come soon!! That’s all I’m waiting on before I can start filming and sharing the mondo’s I catch in southern NH!! Videos will go up twice a week starting soon! Check out and sub to watch multi-species fishing. Including my Costa Rican trip for Marlin, roosters, dorado, red snappers and more!
I fish this river often! I drive 3 hrs to make it happen but the scenery and the quality time is so worth it! Very cool to see my one of my favs fish it too! Caught my PB rainbow at the Blue 3 weeks ago 4 lbs 2 oz 22.5” long.
Blue River, Tishomingo OK. One of the best trout fishery in Oklahoma! LFG you need to fish broken Bow for Bass and then the Lower Mountain fork for trout.

Recently trout have been stocked where I live. I haven't ever heard of that here. When I did, I went straight to the body of water. Caught my first brown trout ever! Cooked it up right there with garlic basil butter, Cavendars & EVOO in a saute pan. Fins, skin and all. When that tail gets extra crispy, it is the freakin deal. Then went back a couple days later, caught my first Brookie, than my first Rainbow in 19 years! Smallmouth in Iowa are delicious. Did one out there last summer, can't wait to go back. There is nothing better than camping outdoors, and eating fresh fish that you caught, cleaned and cooked. Probably not a whole lot of primitive going on there, but still a good video. Rock on man, great stuff.

Ah, Justin. As an old man who grew up in ET, you take me back. Not the mountain rivers, but the camp out on the river. My dad, uncles, granddad camped, fished, and hunted Sulphur River before Wright Patman was built. You brought back great memories to an ole Texan. THANKS!

@@kelbyn6955 even in bad weather you can catch nice fish. The other day I seen a 5-6 lb Walleye in Lake Hefner just cruising under the enclosed dock.
