  • In today's acrylic landscape painting tutorial we paint a snowy winter landscape with reflections in an ice covered pathway. This relaxing painting tutorial is completed for the most part in real time and will cover the step by step process of how to paint snow, ice, light, reflections, snow covered trees, and a sunset in a little winter wonderland.

    You certainly are the new man in my life. What a great artist you are and I love watching you so much you make my 78th year very enjoyable and you give me so much to look forward to as an artist. I hope I can be just 1/3 of an artistic like you are.

    I like when you say, have some fun, when you decide to paint over an area, I always feel dissatisfied with myself for having to do that.

    Thank you, Ryan, for another great tutorial. I am a little behind on them as I came back from Florida with a head cold. Your new brush set I brought makes painting so much easier. I highly recommend them. Soon as I get over this cold, I am going to catch up again. I think I am 2 lessons behind now. I have learned so much from your tutorials that now I am not afraid to pick my own subjects to paint.

      Awh, I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling under the weather, Susan. I hope that you were still able to enjoy the majority of your holidays and some warmer weather! With that said, thank you for the kind words regarding the brushes and you have no idea how happy it makes to hear that you now feel comfortable rendering your own pieces

    I have so many questions like your age how long you’ve been painting did you go to school ? My sister never formally educated can paint circles around me. Yet my art is wide spread from water colors to mixed acrylic and glazes! I started at 59 I’m 70 and wonder why I waited to end of life it makes me joyfully happy proud , to creat nature on all mediums!

    You are a great artist,I love seeing your art.but, I wonder why your palette is so clean every time

    • @RyanORourkeArtist
      @RyanORourkeArtist  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question! I typically use a drywall scraper to clean the pigment off of the palette before it's fully dry. Though, if you intend to try using one I would heavily implore you to be mindful throughout the process. I've definitely nicked on occasion 😅
