Just a heads up: Cats are hunters at heart and they get a sense of "closure" from "killing" their prey. If you're going to play with them with a laser pointer, switching to a physical toy at the end that they can catch and maul is fulfilling for them.

Legit question - how does your mom keep the floors clean/fur-free in the house will all the fur babies? I have two dogs and a cat and the fur is everywhere, ALL THE TIME even after vacuuming every day :(
some breeds don't shed as much (or if they do, the fall out stays until brushed out. I have a maltese (doesn't shed) and a cat (sheds short hair) and the ones responsible for all the hair on the floor are us females humans :P
I have a cavachon and it has real hair not fur. It hardly sheds at all, it’s really nice. Maybe that breed they have doesn’t shed much. And hardwood floors help with animals a lot.

I had gestational diabetes with both my daughters. First child, I took insulin 4 times a day ( each meal and right before bed) and 5 times a day with my se one child. On both pregnancies I took e 1 hour test in my first trimester because I have a family history of diabetes....that was the worst part of being pregnant. I hated taking insulin for 25 weeks. Tomorrow I have the 2 month test...my daughter was born in March and now I need to double check That it is gone. You can’t eat 6 hours before the test so if you have it at 8:30, you stop eating by 2:30am
I need to say something. I need to get it off my chest. I’m so very jealous of your having 4 cats 😩 My husband won’t let me have more than our one. So I have quietly died inside with all your road trip vlogs 😭
A D I had 1 cat for years and got another one and they don't get along very well. I've had both for about 7 years now and they still don't get along lol. I'm.so jealous of how easygoing all 4 of Elles cats are.

I failed the one hour but passed the theee... it was brutal. My daughter is almost 9 months now, but I still remember how long that test was and how much I hated that gross drink. Poor Elle. I have had to get a glucose Torrance test done 1-2x a year since I was 16 because I get really low blood sugar. It’s not that bad you drink this stuff that taste like the juice in the otter pops you eat as a kid and then I just feel off or like a bad sugar day the rest of the day. I wouldn’t stress about it.

I know I'm not Elle, but I suggest that you call around to different shelters describing what kind of kitten you are looking for, and if they don't currently have any available to adopt, ask them if they could keep a look out for you and contact you when they put a kitten or cat up for adoption that fits what you're wanting. I *highly* suggest not going to a breeder, even if that means you have to wait a little longer, because there are so many deserving animals in shelters that are in need of a good loving home! 💗💗💗
Don't worry Elle I failed my one hour glucose test as well, I dreaded doing my 3 hour but it wasn't that bad the lab treated me so nicely let me stay in a room with a recliner and I just relaxed there watching tv with my feet up while my baby girl was doing flips from all the sugar lol
