RE3: The police mansion used to be a museum, that's why all the puzzles are so weird. Also RE3: City hall requires collecting various colored gem stones to get through the front gate.

Dont blame Bawk for getting firm with the "Backseaters". This guy is pretty much a expert at RE3. He knows where every blasting item is. If he "Missed" a item he just didnt take it for a reason or because there is no item there. God it was frustrating watching all the morons saying "Check weskers desk 50 times" in the police station.
I saw in chat that people went full on hate for RE3R in twitch chat, and I honestly liked the RE3R more than RE2R. RE3R had its flaws, mostly because it was rushed, but RE3R did a lot of things better than OG RE3 and RE2R. My biggest positive are ... RE3R did a lot more to make replaying it better. RE3R made enemies and items different and more challenging and made the shop items for replays to be done anyway you want and give reasons, above just achievements, to do challenges, RE2R just add a new handgun and choices on what HG ammo to make/use and why. RE3R also made fight better from OG. Both remakes did better for fights. RE3R did WAY better on character dialogue and interactions. RE2R still had some weird jank lines and interactions, and can we not overlook that the largest plot hole in RE universe goes to RE2R last act. Hunter Beta in RE3R is got this unsettling design that's both frightening and hilarious, making them way more memorable than OG Hunter Betas that are honestly just reskinned hunters with one new instant kill attack. The only real big sins/cons for RE3R I can agree on is ... Nemesis was criminally underutilized. Dran Damose was underutilized, I do think there still interesting in RE3R, just wanted to see more of them. If you get godlike in dodging, games in higher difficulties will still end up to easy. (But the stress of pulling off dodges is still satisfying) I guess the pacing is a little wanky, feels like things are moving way too fast. Game was just to short .... as a first playthrough. If you actually decide to replay it on harder difficulties, this point would be kind of moot. I would of like more choice in RE3R like OG RE3, RE3R is a lot more linear and predictable (On the same difficulty below Nightmare / above Hardcore) RE3R, at its worst, is three good replays (Hardcore, Nightmare, Inferno), OG RE3, at worst, has many replay options based on choices in game. I already knew from day one that no matter if RE3R was good or bad, it would've been bombed by the hive mind of nostalgic RE fans, and the unrealistic expectations of trying to win people over, that were still in bed with RE2R. I feel like what happen to RE3R image was more defamed by internet mob mentality based on things out of RE3R control, rather than what RE3R would present as its own game.
My biggest problems with RE3R was the outright removal of iconic levels like the clocktower, the removal of the zoo and the boss in it, and Nemesis being underused. I found everything else to be pretty good, but I'd argue that RE2R is better due to it not removing anything important (minus the botched 2nd play through) The length complaint is a bit valid but all the old RE games were short, but RE3R felt even shorter. I think the reason it was hated so much was because it removed big parts of the original, and people expected it to be a substantial change from RE2R even though the original 3 was also not that different from the original 2.
The original 1990's resident 3 is fun to watch over the remake, and its no wonder the original still sells for around $50 or higher on ebay compared to the remake that is worth only $20-$30

This particular mod randomizes key items by section so yea a key wont be locked behind the door it's used on. You also wont get the last item first like that Remake 1 rando mod where you can get the flare at like the beginning

Originally, those little medals were supposed to have some use, along with other items like chain, medals of different collors, TV remote and batteries for it, oil, keyring with keys and few others. But developers decided to discard them from final game. You can still obtain these by hacking the game and all of them are named "BOTU" in the inventory, which is Japanese for "Discarded" or "Unused". I'm sorry for my bad English :-)
