Oh my God. That line ended me. Unfortunately I have too much rizz to have seen it as her approuval was high enough already, but it's neat that she's willing to lay out what's needed to romance her. I absolutely loved that you can't do that without a minimum of emotional intelligence and respect for her! That's how you do it

Right? The writing in this game is sublime. You are rewarded in some manner, even for "wrong" choices.
Well tbh she’s in a death cult so it’s only out of the fact that you know it’s a game that you know you can turn her around and do it while respecting her. IRL you wouldn’t respect her or want anything to do with her. IMO the morality take is weird since it implies that one should have a certain set of morals: killing innocents over your cult beliefs is fine but not being respected for those beliefs isn’t. Cringe

Yeah, i never managed to make anyone react it i romanced Gale. The other companions somehow reacted like he and the relationship don’t exist. Shame, Gale deserves more attention from the developers, too

This kinda sums up my issue with RPG romance. It's really awkward when characters say outright to each "Hey, I'm attracted to you, but let's put it on the backburner for...reasons."

I just kinda didn't pry into her life and halfway through act 1 she's like "omg I'm whole different person because of you", kind of felt weird to me.
@@ladyselin35 Yeah, I was always a tad disappointed that if you're already on the romance path with Shadowheart, there's no additional or special dialogue/cutscenes for her at the party. Other characters like Astarion and Lae'zel do. (I think Wyll and possibly Gale as well? Karlach still can't do anything because her Infernal Engine isn't cooled down enough till Act 2.)
@@Zaxares She doesnt have it because she was too drunk to date during Tiefling party. if you have first date already. She tells herself that she doesnt want to share her bed when shes drunk.
@@ladyselin35 It doesn't have to get physical or anything. ;P Additional dialogue lines or even something like a scene where Shadowheart falls asleep drunkenly while leaning against you would be sweet.

@@elisarosales-solis5999 it's a mod, that has everything obtainable or wearable from the game. it has optional extension also that you can wear it as camp clothing so it won't override your current armor ac for better gameplay.

This game has much more animations than The Witcher 3 and ME trilogy.
Trilogy is using too many repetitive animations and i really like that game.

Clearly. I went ahead and saved her from the pod as a Selûnite (1st level Light Cleric the rest in Wizard) and then by the time I got to my 3rd or 4th long rest she wanted me to share a bottle with her
@@nathanfivecoate5848 Apparently it is not enough, some people claim Shadow was still acting annoying even if they saved her. There could be some other checks or it is possible they made her upset by taking artifact etc.
@@ggoddkkiller1342 I generally find her the most agreeable out of the companions with few exceptions. Just be respectful of her beliefs, don't pry her too much, try being tactful when dealing with others (at least while she's around) and she'll open up soon enough
@@nathanfivecoate5848 very soon actually. I went and told her that i want to get to know her better and next day she told me shes worshipping Shar. She wont mind reading her mind at act 1. Thats how ive learned she likes me :p her sad eyes are impossible to resist for me :(

this is the party dialogue when you help the tieflings.
if your approval isn't very high with shadowheart she wont invite you to share a bottle with her.
the gale part is if you haven't had a "moment of magic" with gale yet and he invites you to it during the tiefling party BEFORE speaking to shadowheart.
pretty much if you ignore shadowheart and dont recruity her up until she approaches you near the goblin camp and then just do the goblin camp you'll almost be guranteed to get this dialogue. Or if you just pick options she dislikes during the game before the party.
this is just her low approval party dialogue.
I dunno why people find her hard to romance she was quite easy for me.
