I find it quite fascinating that these huge aluminum structures can fly through the sky like paper
Yeah, because they have TURBINES!
It’s the shape of the plane that allows it to do that, if you just put a random aluminum structure in the air, it will generate too much drag and not fly. The wings are shaped like airfoils and have engines on them. All of these help a plane fly.
