Sebastiaan Warning I'd ask the same question to you, hardstyle comes from hard trance, this is hard trance indeed, the FM synth sound from the beggining doesn't make it hardstyle. hardstyle came more than 10 years after trance, back in the days people didn't care about the genre, i don't get the attitude of new comers like you, arguing about genres and what's worse not knowing the history of it.

Back then it freed my mind & opened worlds of experimentalism. We was constantly trying out new frequencies, new spectrums, creating Art! No commercial covers with auto-tune or harmonic Cd equalizers. Govs & Banks bought epic Venues, only to trash them down, terminating licenses, Forcing us to only hear repetitive made-up celebs.
