The cool thing about OOT3D is that you can install a save exploit to get to homebrew to run any out of region version of it. Would be nice to have homebrew for region free if you only have 1 capture card 3DS and want to record multiple regions. If your 3DS is still 10.3 you can use the browser, but if not you need a save dongle/copy of cubic ninja.
+NoThisIsStupider I have played every one of these versions to test them all. I'll have a video on the NFR ones soon. The only other weird ones are the Chinese and Korean versions. Idk if I'll upload anything from them yet.
I surprised you found the Chinese version, I have been looking for a Chinese Sticker Star for a while now and have only seen one that was a sold over a year ago. Chinese 3DS Games are really hard to come by :/
I'm really enjoying all these supplementary videos, but out of curiosity, do you think Beat Volvagia as Child Part 3 will be up in the future, or is it cancelled?
Spanish is fastest on North American 3ds. Japanese/Chinese and stuff would be faster but he would have to buy a Japanese 3ds and get the capture card in that one which is a lot of money
orangesya It's very easy to softmod your 3DS for region free, but... "Japanese/Chinese and stuff would be faster" isn't as precise as I was looking for.
+FNG_dGamefather Nope, the region lock exploit allows you to run the cartridge on your 3DS, its not an actual patch that removes it, you need to run the application from the homebrew menu.No such exploit has been created yet that actually patches over the region lock
+Ice Cream Is Awesom Canadian version is the NA version (the code on the front of the cart should be LNA-CTR-AQEE-USA). The only difference is that the box has a label on it that specifies that the game can be played in French.
Huh, my Aus box is TSA-CTR-AQEP-AUS, when yours is -1. No Nintendo 2DS on the cover and different copyright legalese on the back. Same as the GameFAQs one img.gamefaqs.net/box/0/7/0/157070_back.jpg
Most versions have like 2 different boxes, a new one and and old one. The new one has the 2DS label. I think you'll find that the code on the cart is the same as mine which is what matters. I have tested all of my carts for the patches implemented on the Korean and Chinese version and have found no evidence of them.
I swear that vacuum in the background wasn't that loud before I uploaded this lol
Hey aren't you the guy who did the worlds fastest speedrun on this game?
+Ultimate spidey that's me. This game holds a special place in my heart so I've taken it upon myself to learn as much about it as I possibly can
The C E that appears on EU versions of games means that it is certified to be sold/traded in European Markets :)
you are spending you money the right way my friend :)
gonna cry?
The preorder jewel case had jewels in it?! That actually is pretty cool
Any plans for a MM 3D collection?
Maybe if China sells the NFR super cheap on ebay
HOLY SHIT DUDE! thats actually awesome

+Escape Wundert mich auch :D

That's actually not Spanish, that's Italian.

I'm really enjoying all these supplementary videos, but out of curiosity, do you think Beat Volvagia as Child Part 3 will be up in the future, or is it cancelled?
it'll happen, I had some booboos and got sidetracked!
+benstephens1000 No problem, man! Just wanted to be sure you hadn't forgotten was all haha. I look forward to it!
well that was fun to watch.
Are you gonna do language speed comparisons for Korean, Chinese, etc?

you should show off the demo version some time. also, are the new jabu shenanigans possible on 3d?
working on the demo stuff soon. The blue warp doesn't work, but we've been able to reach that Jabu scene for a long time with DHWW
cool. sucks that the blue warp doesnt work, what about it doesnt work? ruto's text still OP? could you use farores wind?
Wow, that's really cool. :3
I'm pretty sure that special edition 3DS is a bit smaller over the original 3DS
It's the same size
also id like to get my hand on a JP version. is eBay the only thing you recommend?
+bigfoot 1919 I got mine on amazon actually
+bigfoot 1919 You can get JP copies super cheap on eBay. You shouldn't have to pay more than $25 shipped.
+FishamanP not exactly. Even used you're still looking at 40+ on average unless you get kinda lucky
benstephens1000 Idk where you're finding them, but I regularly see them for the price I stated.
The one with the rupees inside is not Spanish, it's actually Italian.
Can you get the JP version of games through the eShop if you region unlock your 3DS?
+FNG_dGamefather i highly doubt so. If remove\bypass region lock you can only play on cartridge
+bigfoot 1919 Thx bigfoot!

Good aleckermit reference
I have the Canadian version of the game. I couldn't actually find the NA version at the time xD

I know it's the same, but it is english and french on the back. I guess it's the same thing with european boxes though (the languages are different)
This seems familiar...
XD Nice man!
wow

Korean zeldaaaaaaaaaa!
The North American box art looks awful compared to other releases. : (
+TheLostSabre I wouldn't say awful, but it's definitely a bit lackluster compared to the others I think.
wow
