Just in case someone wants to buy this figure in 2023-- the second head is no longer chrome and the colors seems to be quite a bit paler (or at least the blue is-- more sky blue than navy). The colors are reflected in the product images on big bad toy store, but I didn't see any of the secondary head at all. The rest seems mostly the same though!
Hes a cybertronian bird lynx hybrid thing, (side note we know from tfp predacons can evolve quickly, and skylynx is a predacon in tfp so maybe he is a super evolved predacon)
Finally got mine together! I bought Inventa way back in 2020, and got a reissue version of Magma. They apparently changed the blue to a lighter shade to match the toy, so I have a mismatched Skylynx!
So if sky lynx is only beast mode is he a maximal or autobot ? Could he ravage and Lazer beak and the cassette bots be considered the first animal transformers?
@@iankelly4008 kinda. But the maximals/predacons are different. They have organic components. Ravage may be shaped like a jaguar, but he has no organic components. But yes, there are among the first of the animal-shaped transformers.
@@pat120180 I know I just didn't know where they'd slot sky lynx. He's a bit of an outcast in g1. More of a 1 liner and quick aid than quality warrior. I know all about beast wars watched it in high school.
Transforming a large figure NOT in front of a camera can be tricky but to do it in FRONT of a camera and at arms length doesn't look comfortable or easy! Also...CALL OF THE PRIMITIVES!

Got mine a few weeks back and it's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! It also scales well with POTP Predaking and the two looks gorgeous together (especially if Predaking has the upgrades).
I can't imagine collecting too many Mastermind Creations. Their figures are just too large. I can even notice some difficulty in transforming them due to the size of the toy. They look great, there's no doubt, but it seems like you'd need an addition to your house to display them.

In the G1 cartoon and in the original toy Sky Lynx was formed of two parts like here: the flying mode resembling a bird and the land mode resembling a lion. Now, of course the two parts combined: the "bird"'s head, neck and wings and the "lion"'s paws. I recommend you watch some G1 episode parts where Sky Lynx appears here on youtube... The character is awesome!
I know it's off topic but I'm curious to what camera you use to film and how the audio is so clean. I seen reflections and it looks like a tablet or a phone.
I have both and they scale pretty nice. If I were to make an anology for their scale, it's similar to a full grown man vs a lion. Sky Lynx's head is at almost above wait/near chest level of POTP Predaking, and that is just regular posing. I display them with Sky Lynx on his hind legs, clawing Predaking (who has his giant sword behind him, acting as support) while Predaking is grasping Sky Lynx's neck, keeping away his head from Sky Lynx's mouth. It looks beyond awesome!!!

Couldn't they design that thruster to open up further so the one transforming it shouldn't have to push the tail past it?
Nucleo Negro well to do that they would have to make a hole in the other thruster as it’s what’s blocking that part
You can rotate the thrusters to make it a bit easier.

Hi! I love this figure. Also, the thrusters can turn to the side, so you can have little more clearance to take out the tale.
