They don't live it, they don't see it, they live in a cushioned, protected environment. Many have been to private schools, most went on to university where, naturally, they involved in a variety of causes, the environment, race politics and more recently, the war between Hamas and Israel. They don't understand critical thinking or anything, nothing like that, but they know how to chant slogans repeatedly, they know how to participate in minor unrest, they can do self righteous anger, and in a few years time they'll be working in the highly curated media, or have some other career, making money and living out their comfortable middle class lives. Iim an 84 year old woman brought up in Hertfordshire, primary school at St. Thomas Moore for young ladies in Berkhampstead (the school is now providing a good co-educational programme. From there I attended a private school,Upton Hall, in the Wirral so I may possibly be considered middle class by some people. However, my husband and I loved the humour expressed in “Only Fools and Horses”. I feel most of us can relate to Rodney and Dell Boy😀😀😀
