Thank you for making such detailed and instructional content with the M3, Niklas. Every filmmaker could learn something from the way you operate the gimbal and the way you tell a story. Well done!
Thank you for the explanation. Many "gimbal move" videos just show a bunch of shots. But in this video you tell us when and why. Always taking it to the next level. Niklas really knows his craft, and he's able to convey that knowledge to even newbies like me.
Bro, I'm following a lot of youtubers with tips, but this is gold. You have good vibes and make it feel like everyone can achieve this results. Well deserved the like and follow button. Thanks mate!

Thank you for a great review and tips on this gimbal! I just got it and was looking for insight into using it. I have been taking film production and photography classes at my local tech school. I've been watching your videos for a while, and they spurred my interest in taking my photography and videography to the next level.
Niklas, thank you for the video, hugely helpful as always. I was thinking down the road about a gimbal for my Canon M50 Mark ii, and this helped make a good desicion for a future purchase. The different motions are extremely helpful also as I would have had no idea where to start! ✌
Really enjoyed the way you incorporated storytelling literacy. Would you ever consider doing a camera settings video? Really curious how you are set up and what settings you shoot with!
inspiring. very good video editing skills. I sat here to finish this video quickly as I prepared to sleep but u hold me tight until saying the price of the gimble. you have powerful imagination to attract the audience. even I am surprised after realizing it. good luck Nicklas. create much more adventurous and other tutorial videos.
WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!! Thank you so much for this video. I am literally going to practice every move you mentioned with my crane M3. Are you South African?
Thank you Niklas for the video. It’s very well done and I’ve learnt a lot from you. My question is what lens was on the Sony A7S3. I would like to know what is the maximum weight the Crane M3 can support. My predicament is to buy either the Crane M3 or the Weebil 2. I usually shoot with my iPhone but I do use my Sony A7RIV occasionally. Thanks.
Thanks, Niklas, for an outstanding video. Yes, I get it, this is not a true unbiased review, and you are not telling us about how this gimbal works over the long term, even a month of shooting. That's ok, you provided us with great content and value! One point for people to pay attention to...the quick release plates are available SEPARATELY for various cameras---they do NOT come standard, and they are not cheap. On Zhiyun's website they charge $129.00 US dollars for the plate! Note that Zhiyun has a Christmas sale that ends 12.31.21 so if you buy it through their website they are giving you the plate free. I am a traveler, and so everything has to be small and light. I'm committed to the Sony APSC system, formerly used the A6000, and now use the A6600. I love the quality of the images in the camera, but it's image stabilization is not good enough for videos. As such, I've been looking for some time for a small compact gimbal. I considered strongly the Weebill S/then 2, but just did not want something that big. Now, the Crane m3 appears to be just the right size. I use these lenses primarily when traveling: Sigma 30mm, Sony 18-135mm, and the Sony 70-350mm. I decided against the Sigma 16mm because it was larger and heavier than the Sigma 30mm. I'm wondering if the Sigma 30mm will fit on this gimbal. Also, another question: did you have problems balancing this gimbal? Did you have problems linking it to the camera wirelessly? Could you adjust settings through the video? Thanks, again!!!
I just bought a Sony A7C and a DJI RSC 2... Would this gimbal work with the sony a7c.. because i wear for my travelling that the rsc2 might be too big, and I also like the fact this has a light
Yes you can use it with some limited amount of lens are compatible. I already bought and using with Sony a7c. The best dilemma was for me to buy ronin sc2 or this crane 3. But I always prefer more portability. How is your experience with ronin sc2 is it portability
unfortunately this lightweight Gimbal not working properly while balancing a mic on top the sony a7c body. So returning the product for now. may be they will have future something better I think RSC2 is best way to win so much space on the back motor part
Hey bro I am a indian I think you should come to the india There are many beautiful travelling point When you come to the india Don't forget to visit KOKAN ( Ratnagiri)
The Nikon Z5 and Z6 are compatible with the M3 and there a half dozen very light Z lenses both short zoom kit lens and primes that work with this M3 (list shown on Amazon for M3 listing), that would like be fine for the M3 motors. Total weight of Z camera and lens is less than 2 lbs.
I have s22 ultra and I want to buy a gimbal..after some months i want to buy a camera too.better is to buy a hybrid gimbal like crane m3 or smooth 5 that is only smartphone gimbal and then buy camera and gimbal?
Another review on the M3 and still nobody talks about if the joystick for tilting has a sensitivity range adjustment? Ie, can the joystick be made to be very slow to tilt camera?" Or is the speed determined by how far the joystick is pushed?

For sure. This is one of my favorite filmmakers and one of the reasons I pulled the trigger on a Zhiyun!
At first I thought that only four was too few, but four thoroughly shown and explained is better than a dozen half-explained ones.
Great video thanks.

Hi
Niklas, please, one question: the gyro feature in your A7S III, made you decrease the use of your gymbal?
what lenses did you use with the gimbal?
Thank you for another great video!!

Does it work with a GoPro 8
For Crane M3, it can only provide stability for GoPro 8
