what system are you running this game on? i have a windows 10 computer and some boss fights like the giant and the snake get REALLY slowed down for me.

Thing I'd suggest, if you still have this issue, is contact the forums or group boards for la mulana classic and see if someone had similar issues...
Well if he'd just double jump a few times he'd be fine.
