- Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Twyford on the Great Western Main Line where services are seen by Great Western Railway and TfL Rail.
Twyford was good to re-visit again, a station I have not had much luck at because of delays and missed connections from Reading, so I've never had a chance to spend a lot of time here. This time around it was perfect and went very well. The station itself is fantastic and I very much enjoyed seeing such a changed and transformed GWML compared to the past. Overall, a brilliant station and recommended for sure!

The 387s almost sound as if they have diesel engines with a mix of their electric motor when they depart. Great video as always Kieran!!

Great video Keiran. Twyford is the good station to film at also passing through beginning of the intro is the GWR 387 from Newbury to London Paddington that you didn't say. Can you do trains at Reading on the GWML just not to far after Twyford. And I believe that RoscoTrain107 joined you or are you by urself on the video.
Arnold you weren’t really paying much attention and need to watch the whole video first
Firstly there were two trains before the intro 387161 from Didcot parkway then followed by a passer from Newbury
Also I was in the video and Kieran did mention it in the video
As for Reading he can’t do one he’s done before back late last year, two non essential travel ban is in effect although it’s due for review and even if it’s lifted Reading won’t be done anytime soon.
Shiplake is for the Thames Path- Henley on Thames branch
And Twyford is the Mainline junction for Shiplake
