  • In the 2nd episode of CRAVING JETLAG, Chef Ronnie Woo takes you to Sossusvlei, Namibia, Africa. Ronnie climbs Big Daddy, explores giant clay pans and the “living” skeleton trees of Deadvlei, makes braised oxtail and traditional cornmeal pap, and gives you a tour of the Kulala Desert Lodge where you have the option of sleeping on the roof of your “kulala.”

Another awesome place I’ve never heard of. How do you select the locations?

Location selection depends on so many different factors so it’s kind of hard to say, but I definitely try to choose a mix of relaxing destinations and off-the-beaten-path locations. There are just so many places to see in the world!!
