  • Day 11 of the Camino Primitivo - Lugo to Ferreira (~26.5km): Join me on this cold but sunny day loaded with tips and thoughts, such as bringing a liner only (I did not bring a sleeping bag), discussing shoes vs boots, detours and lots more. The fog and sunny breaks made the start of the day very magical. I am so grateful for the sunshine, friendships, and my health. I took the additional 2.5km detour to see one of the last standing Roman Temples.

Lots of sunny breaks with temperatures ranging from 4ºC to 14ºC (~39ºF to ~57ºF)

That's me at 3:21 with the stray sheep (I was so afraid it would be hit by a vehicle), then later standing inside Casa Zapateiro. That day was so hard on the feet - too much tarmac!
