I feel like Eminem matched kids energy....Cudi reached out to Eminem, basically showing a sign of respect, and em could have came in chopping and go hard as possible but wanted to make the song to fit instead of flex on a guy he appreciates song and clown. 🤷♂️
There's much more than meets the "ear", he missed things and though he praised his verse he said it was basic phrases. Mh... I love this guy but I beg to differ.
I love that Em stuck to the beat with his flow and cadence in this song. He gets a lot of shit for switching it up in features like people think he needs to but this shows he can give you any sort of flow or cadence he wants and he can adapt to any beat.
The flouride swish line is one of those ones he has been spelling out for the less observant lately lol. Ever since he got in his "mad that people like BS and don't catch lyrics" phase, he has been repeating at the end of those lines like he wants to make sure people get it.
Kid cudi is just having fun going with the flow. He isn't trying to compete with EM. Just having fun on a track with EM. Its a chill vibes track. Not every song and verse has to go hard. Cudi is just a different vibe, kinda like Travis Scott. They just have different vibes so comparing them is like comparing apples to oranges, peaches to plums. U either like the vibe or u hate it. Its not for everyone and that's fine, but u shouldn't call his verse trash just bcoz u don't like the vibe.

Cudi lays down the hook that throws you off and your not expecting Em- that’s what makes this great. Perfect example of opposites attract’ Both high af in their separate ways- the constant dissing is classic Em and Cudi is here to help make the statement....
I don't get why people be comparing em's verse with kudi's. Dude thats eminem and its his style. I dont even listen to kudi and i appreciated his verse and flow cause thats his style. You cant just expect him to change his style just cause he's collabrating with em. Em is a legend but respect the other rappers too.
Its not just a comparison. Cudi's verse was pretty bad in alot of ppls opinion and ofc it's an opinion. Loads of ppl really like Gucci Gang but I think it's pretty bad, to each their own.
Sherlock Holmes Cudi ain’t trash. He influenced the most popular rappers in the gane rn. I mean sure he ain’t the best rapper compared to eminem but he’s still a good artist imo
Stylez Beast Mode u do know most of the people you have named fw cudi right? Even Eminem fucks with cudi hence this song is made. That should tell you something. Also in hip-hop and there are many styles but I fw any style tbf
Kid is about the vibe and Em is about the bars. Cudi's part is purely for the vibe, not every rapper has to have bars, regardless if they're with Em on a track.
I agree up until the point of "just" vibe. You don't need complex bars. But you shld atleast talk about something. But I'm sure was. I caught a little. But w out knowing a lot about Cudi, it's hard to catch it.
You can't compare Em and Cudi apples to apples, completely agree with you. I don't think that was the point of this collab. The vibe of the track is completely Cudi, but Em is great enough to bring his bars seamlessly into it.
"So if it's God you believe in (Yeah) Bob your head and just nod in agreement (Yeah)" by the time u get it... u already nod to the beat and bar... Em got everyone on that! kkkkkkkk x_X ther's 2 more collabs coming!!

Cudi requires a certain mood/zone to enjoy. He doesn't bar out, you don't really need to analyze anything. I understand it's not for everyone, but if you get high and lay down on the couch and put on "Man on the Moon" it's a fuckin experience. Eminem is another mood. You have to really pay attention and analyze his bars. To me, they're just different styles. Cudi uses his voice as an instrument to complement the track, whereas for Eminem, the beat is more of a vessel to deliver his rhymes.
The trilogy is kid cudis man on the moon albums. He’s only done 2 those were his best albums. So man on the moon 3 is coming and this was a teaser. Eminem wouldn’t be on a track with a verse he doesn’t respect. Cudi has bars you missed btw

"Non-stop Fury, 'Cause I ain't holding 'em up" is definitely a shout to Tyson Fury and him taunting opponents by dropping his hands. No reactor seems to catch that
Stevie Bro! I love yo reaction but I gotta say this...this wasn’t meant to be an Em vs Cudi vibe...it’s about getting better with time now that they’ve left the “BS” of their past, it’s basically alignment of their values. Now, granted , Cudi should’ve went harder cause Dat Monster is on the track and we know how he get down. I couldn’t agree with you more. But it’s definitely not Em vs Cudi. We don’t look to Cudi for bars ma man. That’s where he messed up, imo. He went the bars route cause he got Em on a track. He probably should’ve dug deeper in his melodic bag cause that’s really where he shines. Probably would’ve made you understand his vibe more, and the rack would’ve been better IMHO. Love the reactions and the breakdown G. Shitz is 🔥 bra
You got a point, but this is the world we live in. If you put Eminem on your track, everyone is going to measure you to Eminem. So you better bring your A game all the time. There is no relaxed vibe when Eminem is around.
Em knows how complex his rhymes are and what an elite writer and rapper he is in hip hop. He’s slowed his shit down and simplified to make sure he was heard. He did that on the BET Cypher as well.
Apparently the 'hoop dreams, shoot threes, little green' bar is an nba2k reference too. Which would make 'Snoop D O Double, that's 2G's' bar harder. 2Gs(grand) - $2000 - 2K - NBA2K
'They say that times undefeated, I'm gonna be the first one who can beat it' Dawg as in the first one who can lay down the equivalent of time on a track, on a beat. Like he's saying he's basically time. The metaphor is multi level
Don’t think Stevie fully took in the cadence in this one. Which he normally does. But man the flow is sooo clean. And the swag is so quietly confident... humble brags! Man it’s lyrical magic. Who else can write like that and adjust to every track, flow and vibe with any artist. Any artist, he meets them on their shit and then kills it.
Stevie, not every rapper is a lyrical rapper. Eminem did his own thing well, Cudi did his own thing well. Cudi kills with voice and overall aesthetic, not with punchlines.
Scriptwork had a good breakdown for the House rat line. Like he's the house rat in the house of hip hop, taking cheese from mousetraps. He's not supposed to be there, hip hop doesn't want him in their house, but he's there anyways and just getting the cheese. He's the house rat of rap, makes the money and outsmarts the mousetraps so he still lives in the house of hip hop.
@@jakethefollowedbyghostguyt5185 Scriptwork are one of the most professional, if not the most, when it comes to breaking down bars in songs. So, in a nutshell, nope.

Huge basketball fan too. You can see him back in the day during the NBA finals when the Pistons were in it, with his blonde hair and jersey on in the crowd going crazy!
Tired of everyone trying to compare other artist's verses to Eminem's verse. Not dogging on anyone or artist or that but every artist has the right to make their style they don't HAVE TO match Eminem's it's not battle rap it's a single from an album. I get it when he's on the track with legends but Cudi, Young MA, Boosie, these are not legends they dont have to go bar for bar with a legendary rapper they chose to feature. Just let each make their style of music and it can be a mash up of the two styles. If you allow yourself to understand that perspective you won't always be dogging the other artist on egery collab and set yourself up for disappointment.

That's Cuddi's thang, His voice is like...chill, on his best song he never rely says anything but there's something about his voice
Solo Dolo or Soundtrack to My Life lyrically is just simple as it gets but those 2 tracks MAY be 2 of my most listened to tracks
How can you list a song like Soundtrack to my life & say he never really says anything. Like dawg did you pay attention the lyrics at all? He says a whole lot
“That’s two G’s” is a triple. Tunechi and Snoop, two OG’s, Snoop Dogg two G’s, and two G’s on paper.
Also two G's as in grams of weed. This guy is something else man.
And 2g's as in "2 grand" in money.
Technically itd be a quintuple bar. Look at the basic to. Two gs of weed, two grand, or two tons.
Then he took one G back on Zeus. Ha
Two grams of weed as well. Plus paper, is paper he writes on. and rolling papers. It's like a quadruple entendre with a double entendre thrown in the middle lol
When Stevie said “Ya butthole bleedin” and then chuckled 😂😂😂😂💀
I feel like Eminem matched kids energy....Cudi reached out to Eminem, basically showing a sign of respect, and em could have came in chopping and go hard as possible but wanted to make the song to fit instead of flex on a guy he appreciates song and clown. 🤷♂️
"Armed Robbery", "Ahmaud Arbery", "George Floyd and Ahmaud ARE BURIED"
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Oh shit nice catch lol
amazing bar breaking , bravo
@@JakeNHale Thanks lol.
@@BreziqM Thanks 😎.
I have realized, people who arent fans of Kid Cudi don't like his verse. That shit was fire for me
I'm not a fan but I love his verse here, and flows is 🔥🔥🔥
Honestly, I think it's one of the better verses in an Eminem featured song.
I love the song for its entirely but everyone has there opinion it’s cool lol
"So if its God you believe in.. bob your head and just nod in agreement"
Rap God🔥🐐🙏💯
Can't believe he didn't catch that lol
Bob like the toys incar bobly head..damn how could he think about that and use it in a song
I’m thinking a breakdown to 50 Cent & Eminem - Patiently Waiting
“Shoot 3’s” = triple entendres..... maybe I’m reaching but that’s how I perceived that line
Good catch. ;)
Excellent catch I listen to this song a few times never thought he meant that
Shoot threes = like in 2k/bball
Shoot threes = shoot trees / killing trees = writing on so many papers
Shoot threes = trilogy
So yes, triple entendre.
I agree the world already knows what Em can do he doesn’t have to prove anything. I enjoyed Cudi verse as well🔥🔥
@lacamisetayou don't just pass up an opportunity to have Em on a song, Eminem is up on this pedestal because he is so good and a lot of people just know that will help them attract more followers
@@camerondelany2421 yeah but if you make a song with Em you know you will get murdered on youre own shit and people always look at who came better on the song not only on Ems shit... that is just how the most people who fucking with bars look at it not that the other person is bad just to see who got more work in the pen.
And i think cudi's shit whas weak not that he is trash but i listen to MC's like MF DOOM and if i listen to this i am just dissapointed
Not a hater but even if Cudi tried to go hard, he would be bodied...i like the vibe tho
@lacamiseta Cudi isn't a bar heavy guy. He's a chill vibes guy. U cant compare him and EM. It's like comparing apples to oranges

This is the opposite of a jab, nor am I making fun of dude at all... I’m just rambling about his passion for analyzing bars and the history. Awesome video man!
Cudi lays down the hook that throws you off and your not expecting Em- that’s what makes this great. Perfect example of opposites attract’ Both high af in their separate ways- the constant dissing is classic Em and Cudi is here to help make the statement....
Em spends 2000$ of paper to write down his lyrics, and snoop spend 2000$ on his paper to smoke his weed
And lil wanye& snoop thats 2 g’s👌🏾👌🏾🔥🔥

Only scriptwork could catch the reference to being a guest in the game when he raps about the house rat
Yeah bruh
I fight back
Just was listening to it and thinking when Stevie gonna upload, and the notification pops up, love to see it
I don't get why people be comparing em's verse with kudi's.
Just because you call yourself a "rapper" doesn't deserve respect.
Talent deserves respect.
It doesn't take much brain cells to see how trash Kudi is
Sherlock Holmes Cudi ain’t trash. He influenced the most popular rappers in the gane rn. I mean sure he ain’t the best rapper compared to eminem but he’s still a good artist imo
Cudi is dope, he has a nice flow and his bars are good in their own way
Stylez Beast Mode u do know most of the people you have named fw cudi right? Even Eminem fucks with cudi hence this song is made. That should tell you something. Also in hip-hop and there are many styles but I fw any style tbf
I love kid cudi for his flow and delivery. I love em for his lyrics. And this beat is dope. Not too overwhelming makes it feel more personal.
When Em says "I'm a house rat" he's referring to the house of hip hop, and he's definitely in the house of hip hop....
If he's a rat in the house of hip hop what tf is lord jamar then🤔😂
Jay way hey kay! The shit of the rat😂

Naw, compared to ems verse Cudi was trash

He missed it by a lot lol, different artist have different styles and vibes my guy
@@rogeerveneros3636 Facts
This was my first listen to kid cudi and I liked it. It's like psychedelic hip hop beat.
Kid is about the vibe and Em is about the bars. Cudi's part is purely for the vibe, not every rapper has to have bars, regardless if they're with Em on a track.
Facts‼️‼️‼️
I thought Cudi was spitting on this shit.
True, kid cudi is calm and chill,
The shooting 3's line, was about triple entendre for sure
"So if it's God you believe in (Yeah)
Bob your head and just nod in agreement (Yeah)"
by the time u get it... u already nod to the beat and bar... Em got everyone on that! kkkkkkkk x_X
ther's 2 more collabs coming!!
Kid Cudi was talking about his next project: Moon Man 3
Yeah I figure that was the point of that bar, he knows everyone'll be noddin' to the music. Lotta reactors seem to miss the point, lol.
Finally someone said it
I am beginning to feel like a rap god, rap god, all my from the front to the back nod, back nod.
@@Jay_R8 the song title is plural tho

Unless your speaking about the other one not 2.0

@@ToxicBottledOstrichNostrils nah despite The game saying on the track Em out rapped him on his own track. The Game got him on We aint. Wasn't Ems strongest verse and Game got two verses. But honestly without thinking too hard about it thats all I can come up with.
Preach!
I don't know cudi at all, but in this case, I'd definitely say the beat wasnt up to the task, so complementing it just didn't give good results
Well said.
Nicely put. Totally agree.
Almost an year after and I just noticed that Em does an inhaling ad lib when he said the loose leaf line.
Never saw someones mood change so fast when Ems verse came on 🤣🤣

The trilogy is kid cudis man on the moon albums. He’s only done 2 those were his best albums. So man on the moon 3 is coming and this was a teaser. Eminem wouldn’t be on a track with a verse he doesn’t respect. Cudi has bars you missed btw
That takes no break down...... proceeds to break it down. Love it 😊

I completely agree
Thank you for explaining. I'm not a Cudu fan like that.
2Gs(grand) - $2000 - 2K - NBA2K
i wouldn't doubt this one bit Em does this shit all the time plus hes a massive COMIC FAN TOO!
You got Max wingspan with that reach

Em killed it
Jeez I didn't realize how good you were with breaking down bars. Good job man
Scriptwork had a good breakdown for the House rat line.

I just died when you said "if there are three of these you're basically advertising that your ass shouldn't be on a track with Eminem.."
I don't like Kid Cudi and I agree. It's a collab, not a versus.
Cudi is a legend but not necessarily from straight rapping
I think some people don't understand Em's complex bars. This was for them.
