I was mesmerised when I was listening to this wonderful historical interview. I’m an Ethiopian 🇪🇹who lives in the UK and loves the true connection between the two nations: Ethiopia 🇪🇹-Jamaica 🇯🇲.
The host, EMPRESS, the hostess- amazing. So patient and good listener. That’s what interviewing all about: not interjecting all the time rather letting it flow from the source. Massive well done and thank you 🙏👊🏿👍🏿 for bring this historic personal account and testament to our ears.🇪🇹🇯🇲🙏🙏🙏👊🏿👊🏿👏👏👍🏿👍🏿🇯🇲🇯🇲🇪🇹👊🏿🇯🇲🇯🇲🇪🇹🙏👏

Bunny Wailer will never cease setting me on fire with his phenomenal root reggea music. We loved this phenomenal man growing up in Nairobi. we would attend reggae sessions on Sundays at reggea discos or other discos paying reggae on sundays and call it church. there on Sundays we used to go to reggae clubs for church on Sundays in the afternoon. a reaggea disco called Hollywood used to play his music vids there first at its restaurant then show reggae sunplash videos with other reggae vids all day. one could hang there or enter its disco downstairs where those massive massive Kenya reggae hyping scratch DJ's would then take it away. we were school kids but grew up doing that every Sunday and other days of the week if we didn't feel like attending normal disco clubs during the week. These heroes of ours even at this age would look more fly doing their music even now. am sure in Kenya he would still fill a stadium like Burning Spear still does there. These roots reggea music must never be out dated to all the black people.
