My Dad very unexpectedly died 6 months ago. We had less than 24 hours to say goodbye and he wasn’t conscious. He was so instrumental in teaching me about the word and pointing me to Jesus. My faith was totally rocked when Dad died. I never thought I would be the person to be mad at God (I mean, it wasn’t his fault!). This song definitely is thawing the distrust and fear (not a good kind of Godly fear) I have been living out of since Dad died.
I've been really struggling these past few months in my walk with God. Struggling to hold on to what Jesus wants of me, to His intentions for my life. I've been on the edge of compromising on everything that I know the Lord wants of me. Then last week I finally clicked on this video. I feel myself being brought back into His embrace as i sing along and worship. I hear Christ asking me to hold on, hold on to Him, asking me to trust Him. i am a Muslim and so happy to hear this song. this last month I was struggling with a very stupid idea in my mind I couldn't stop it or control over it. I was about being crazy and I couldn't be good just crying. Brother, I've struggled with similar things - trying to make Him proud. I'm still on that journey, but He's said to His children that you are loved, like the son who came back to the father after spending his inheritance on prostitutes and wicked living, when he came back to the father, the father RAN fell upon his neck, hugged him and kissed him. Thank God He's our Father. He's beyond proud of you, you can't earn more love, His love is unending. Even when we are faithless, He remains faithful for He cannot deny Himself. Like @P Romero said, do whatever it takes to have Him in your life. Make Him welcome in each part of your life, permission and freedom to do whatever He wants, wherever He wants, whenever He wants.

i am a Muslim and so happy to hear this song. this last month I was struggling with a very stupid idea in my mind I couldn't stop it or control over it. I was about being crazy and I couldn't be good just crying. You know, my mom was diagnosed an agressive cancer seven months ago and even tho I believe in my good God I've felt kinda depressed so many times, I've been praying so little I feel like I'm not doing my part for God to heal her. Brother, I've struggled with similar things - trying to make Him proud. I'm still on that journey, but He's said to His children that you are loved, like the son who came back to the father after spending his inheritance on prostitutes and wicked living, when he came back to the father, the father RAN fell upon his neck, hugged him and kissed him. Thank God He's our Father. He's beyond proud of you, you can't earn more love, His love is unending. Even when we are faithless, He remains faithful for He cannot deny Himself. Like @P Romero said, do whatever it takes to have Him in your life. Make Him welcome in each part of your life, permission and freedom to do whatever He wants, wherever He wants, whenever He wants.
