    You need to visit Cuetzalan in the state of Puebla, it is an incredible magical town on a mountain, it is very cheap and I recommend hiring a local Guide because there are Aquatic Caves, Dry Caves, Waterfalls, even an archaeological zone, When I visited Cuetzalan I stayed at the Posada Molina Hotel and Suites, it is a great Hotel, I live in Mexico City, good videos, your videos help me with my English

    I travelled for several months in Oaxaca and I strongly reccomend you San Mateo Río Hondo in the area. Just around 20 minutes from San Jose. Less known, more off beaten track and in the middle of a forest. Have fun on your travels, Mexico is awesome and such a great place to be during pandemic..

    glad youtube recommended your channel. you guys seem very authentic and genuine. welcome to mexico. my home is your home! mexico is the birthplace of corn, avocados, chocolate, tomatoes, pumpkin and many peppers and some foods like tamales and tortillas are thousands of years old. hope you try all these real mexican foods and drinks. oaxaca is one of the top 3 places for food. tlayuladas are delicious. also,like Greece, Mexico had lots of ancient civilizations and you can visit their arqueological sites. monte alban in oaxaca is one of them. lastly, i recommend visiting the colonial cities like taxco, queretaro, morelia, san miguel de allende , merida where you will see the true charm of Mexico. the people full of life, music, vibrance. safe travels, looking forward to more videos :)

    Muy buenos videos chicos ✌️👌

    Visit Monterrey, it is an Industrial city in the North of Mexico. Here you can visit La Huasteca, It is a "park" between teh mountains. And we have "Publos Magicos" near to the city. You can visit the Barrio Antiguo (they are veggie restaurants, bars, and museums), And you can take a walk in the Fundidora Park, this place was a metal foundry in the past but they closed in early 80´s, and now the surface is home of open air music festivals, expos, an artificial lake, and of course a park. There is also a Hotel and a Restaurant installed in an old big foundry oven.
    You can visit also La Cola de Caballo, El Cerro de la Silla (our emblematic mountain), Chipinque whis is a place to walk between the nature and see bears and many other species (not a zoo, they are free, they live there), Las grutas de Garcia, and of course you have to try our emblematic dish Cabrito al Pasotr (Lamb with citric taste and some spices).

    • @LotusGeorge
      @LotusGeorge  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks SO much for you comment! Wow! You make Monterrey sound amazing. I (Lotus) actually have a friend living there so might really be worth it to travel up North.. I hope so! Mexico is amazing but definitely huge :)

    i think San José del Pacifico is overrated because is the best option to many tourist to have an experience with mushrooms and weed... btw i heard from potheads that the land race weeds of Oaxaca are REALLY good... if you just care about the nature go to Pluma Hidalgo on the way to Santa Maria (Huatulco) search videos about there. On the way to San José you probably saw a house supposed to be of Maria Sabina the famous Mazatec healer who used magic mushrooms in her ceremonies, that is fake, her town is far from there and is called Huautla de Jimenez. 14:48 i'm afraid to tell you if you are strict vegetarian that tamales are made with pork lard in the masa...

    • @LotusGeorge
      @LotusGeorge  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much for your comment! Whoops didn't know that about the pork lard, thanks for letting me know :)
      When I travel I'm not that strikes, I like to be flexible to eat everywhere
      But appreciate your comment a lot! Yes San Jose was indeed a touristy place, I can imagine other places are more authentic
