I live in Belize City. From my recollection, it started to rain steadily just after 6 a.m and that continued past 7, for sure. My front yard is already flooded. God help us: we have flooding in our yards and on our streets WITHOUT A TROPICAL SYSTEM because we have no drainage. One can imagine how many people here in Belize City ALREADY have water in their houses. I have had videos showing the flooding in the Cayo District. The Eye of the Storm will pass out Belize so we will be deluged for almost a week. On the behalf of the ordinary citizens of Belize I say, " Thank God Sara is not coming to us wind high winds; moreover, as usual, we the ordinary citizens will pull through this flooding event. Thanks Brian, we rely on you.

Good morning weather community! Preparations on my end were done yesterday. Still had the chance to go on a morning ride, and it was possible to see the very dark clouds coming from the west with practically zero wind. Rain started in San Pedro Sula Honduras at 1.30 pm ( I was already home- 2.30pm EST), and hasn't stop as I type this short story. Simply the amount of rain varies from soft to then all of the sudden pouring. Thanks God my neighbourhood is safe (100 meters above sea level), but sadly other areas are getting hit really bad. I'm gonna be praying for our safety and the ones who will experience the path of Sara. Thanks very much for the update. It was really helpful to be able to make preparations on time.
