@@sonalishaktawat5020 since pointer array(i.e. S) stores base address of each array of characters (as 4 byte block can stores value up to 2^32 -1 ). You can take block of 2 byte or any size as address is itself a integer right.

Sir, you take char type array of pointers for strings, so do we have to choose data type for array of pointers according to others arrays or strings ? Like you choose char type for strings ,so can we choose int type array of pointers for int type of arrays

Size of a pointer is 8 bytes not 4
depends on the system architecture of your PC , Nowdays most OS come in 64-bit, i.e, 8 byte size for pointer.
