    One thing that helped me was laughing at the panic and realizing that the panic was just nervousness x100

    I feel like im watching myself. The heat is a really big panic trigger for me also. I hate summer. I just stay inside until it's over. I have a fear of fainting and the heat makes me so lightheaded and dizzy no matter how much water i drink.

      become accepting of the feeling. i know it will never be a nice feeling, but often times we start fighting it in the way of not wanting to feel it, judging it or judging ourselves.
      and that usually has the opposite effect of what we want.
      if you are unsure, just see a doctor to help put your mind at ease.
      but for the most part it's just a scary feeling, nothing else.

    My anxiety was the exact opposite. I would ride my bike, but wouldn’t leave the house until the temp was over 38c, (100f), as my muscles would be very stiff from fibromyalgia. You did well mate. Keep at it.

    I'm from germany and i have an anxiety disorder. This summer was so hard, the heat was brutal for me because my anxiety was already through the roof and then on top of it these hot days. I actually discovered your channel somtime in the summer and listened to your talk down video. Thank you very much for your content. It is very comforting and helpful.

      I was so annoyed my trip landed on the hottest week, but I guess that was good for exposure therapy!

    Sweet video man!!! Very beautiful place. Also Heat makes me uncomfortable and increases my anxiety as well. Extreme heat reminds me that you feel like you can't breathe when you have a bad panic attack. Keep it up bro you're doing great

    Its like looking to myself. Tears in my eyes because I know how bad this sucks.
    I was never afraid of anything and now my body is messing with me.
    My throat feels weird, tingling arms and legs and even moments that my mind is not on this planet.
    My biggest fair is passing out.
    Hard to see what you are going true, but good job. People can see that they are not alone in this.

    I was diagnosed with panic disorder with agoraphobia as well as health anxiety disorder in 2021. I’ve been having panic attacks that feel like heart attacks somewhat randomly since then. I know it’s not a heart condition because I’ve been to the emergency room multiple times for these symptoms as well as seen 2 cardiologists and have had just about every test performed on my heart and it always comes back healthy. It’s terrifying because even after all of that, when I’m in the midst of a panic attack I STILL just want to call an ambulance. It’s costed me a lot in my life but I’m recovering the best I can. It’s really nice to see someone facing their fears with this stuff. There’s some things I still can’t bring myself to do. I haven’t been able to work since 2021. I’m going to try getting a job in January. That’s my version of what you did in this video. I’m taking a step out of my agoraphobia and into life. I’m terrified.

    You have no idea how grateful I am to have come across your post on Facebook. I didn’t know there was a name for this type of anxiety, and I always thought I was the only one who went through this. It’s so isolating, and it’s hard to leave home. Thank you for posting this, I feel less alone.
    I wish I could get out of a panic as fast as u haha stay strong and keep exploring. I hope to do the same some day☺️💛

    Thank you so much for sharing these helpful videos. I really feel less alone when I watch your process and read the comments. I went to Athens in November and thank God I watched your trip to Athens, it helped me to understand how to be comfortable in uncomfortable places. It’s still a daily struggle I almost never leave the house alone but I believe in baby steps. Keep up the good work! 🙏🏼

    I hate heat I’m struggling with this as well ..I overheat and i don’t even sweat… and when I get them I get dizzie and I feel something weird rushing tru my body and I focus on every breath I take .. it’s dum and before all of this years ago I was a runner … now I’m mostly livin a sedentary life due to ibs and I think that makes panic attacks worse … bisoprolol helps a little bit but it’s a strong med…
    Things will get better we just got to control our mind 😂😂😂 and slowly do more exercise

      Sounds interesting. What do you mean exactly? Thank you!

    • @purpleskies4553
      @purpleskies4553 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @anxiety_fitness you mentioned you dad was from there and maybe his parents grandparents etc. Maybe something happened in the family even way back a traumatic event sudden loss or even something from the last two wars. Your body was feeling something and because you already deal with anxiety it brought it on full force. Sounds vague but I've had similar experiences when I visited Europe, all four of my grandparents and great grandparents (UK and Austrian) lived through bombings having their neighbors, classmates friends and families die. I believe we still carry the echos of that trauma and it's up to us (lucky us ) to heal. I recommend t the book It Didn't Start with You. Thanks for the videos you really push yourself and have the warrior spirit keep it up :)

    I have same issue. But i always choose to back off. I don't have any confidence 😢 i wish i could overcome this.

    • @Ana-gq7ce
      @Ana-gq7ce 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't think it's about confidence, but more about building capacity in your body to feel the discomfort that anxiety brings. I had pannick attacks for over a decade until I started doing somatic work and also connection sessions (to work with the energetic body) and those 2 things worked for me. No more fear to do new things or going to new places, no more avoiding, there's nothing that I don't have the capacity to feel. Hope you find what works for you
